Annie Bloom's Books is a neighborhood independent bookstore and a treasure. It carries a broad range of new books across many genres, with a strong fiction section. It excels in children's and young adult books, and has a very expansive children's section. You can find travel, current events, and cooking books, along with magazines, art supplies, puzzles, and a fabulous selection of cards and notebooks. There are also amazing sale books for bargain hunters. The staff are wonderful, very helpful, and friendly. They can help pick out books and provide gift wrapping, making birthday and holiday shopping easy in one stop. It is a great store with a great vibe, though it lacks a restroom and has a rather scant nonfiction section.
