After spending thousands of dollars here over the years I will not be returning. I was treated with such disrespect after entering your store looking less than my best and wearing a mask due to being severely immune compromised. I was looking for an outfit to take family photos before entering the hospital to receive medical treatment. No one offered to help me or start a room. I asked the sales associate for her opinion and she told me she could not hear me in a very patronizing tone even though my husband assured I was loud enough. I then asked if the dress I was wearing fit correctly and she gave no help or guidance, and her reply was "I guess" with a tone that was rude a condescending. Anthropologie is a store I've been shopping at since the age of 12 and even purchased my wedding dress through bhldn. I've worked with this particular associate before when I was dressed differently and put together and quite frankly I was treated much differently. I left the store and we were only apologized to once we asked to speak to a manager. The price point of the store does not match the service and I was truly heartbroken given the stressful situation we are under. I don't write reviews for context.

My most favorite in all the land! They have the best selection of brands, the best creation of clothes the addition of plus size has been very inclusive. I love their home goods, and the service is always stellar so high marks from me.

I drove about an hour to make returns of things I had bought online. The person helping me with my returns returned 2 of my items then said, "We can't return this sweatshirt because it's been more than 30 days since you bought it." I had never heard of this policy at Anthro and was put off by how the associate was not apologetic about it or the inconvenience, also said they could not offer me store credit. I looked on the app and it still gave me the option to return the sweatshirt. So I showed them a barcode and they called the manager over who said: "The app will just tell you to come into the store so we can tell you it's not able to be returned." Like how does that even make sense? In the end they reluctantly processed the return with the app barcode. I overheard a staff member say something along the lines of "our sales just look bad this weekend because we've had so many returns." Left feeling annoyed because I've had no trouble with returning things at a different Anthro location, so I won't be coming back to this one.

I love coming to Anthropologie but this location doesnt seem to have much variety and the items they do have are just boring and not worth the high price tag. The downtown location had a much better collection with two floors of clothing, bedding, jewlery and even furniture. I've stopped by here multiple times and nothing has caught my eye or wowed me to purchase. I feel like they have really been downhill with their designs since they use to be my place to shop for dresses or unique tops and now I just pass them by since they dont have any cute boho tops or fabrics that I have seen in the past. I feel like the designers have really been lacking the past two years and they need to get more creative and actually offer boutique pieces. I've seen the same issue on their online shop as well with with basic boring items I can find elsewhere.

Super high quality women's clothing. Be prepared though they are expensive.

This location is cruelly ageist, but the downtown Portland one, as well as Seattle, Austin Domain, Carmel, etc. are not, which leads me to believe it's the manager at this location who prefers younger customers. My daughter noticed once again the stark difference in friendly service directed at her versus the older women, even by the older employees, describing in detail to me her concern for an older customer who was clearly eager to purchase clothing, while she (my daughter) was not. Were it not for the clothes of which we frequently purchase elsewhere, we would not return to the Bridgeport location. But we love eating at PF Changs and shopping at the other stores who welcome all ages. We remain loyal customers because we travel enough to non disciminatory Anthro locations, and the online service is exceptional. Our closets are full of Anthro clothing, as well as dishware and accessories. Sad to see this location is allowed to deliver such poor customer service.

Their selection this year is spot on. I was surprised at all the beautiful home products available. It is a beautiful store. The staff doesn't greet you or acknowledge your visit.

Great selection, but I was in there for twenty minutes and was ignored by every single employee in there. I smiled at one of them in passing and was met with a glare in return. Will not be shopping here again.

Anthropologie has been my favorite store to shop in for the longest time. It is a place where I have always left with a smile, a treasure, and feeling joyfully full of creativity and happiness. Today I left feeling judged, frustrated, distrustful, anxious, and paranoid.I have had great experiences with the staff at this store, they have always been nothing but kind, helpful, positive rays of sunshine. Which is SO appreciated. Everyone benefits from kindness, and it creates a beautiful energy and connection to the store. This is one of the reasons i choose Anthropologie to shop at- the people who work here make you feel welcome and celebrated.HOWEVER today…The “manager” on duty was lacking in empathy and the experience of trying to speak with them was like being belittled while trying to pull water from a stone. They repeatedly tried to look up my customer account and told me it did not exist, then insinuated that it was somehow my fault (offered no remorse or consolation or explanation that this was happening) And would only repeat that they could not help me and I should call customer service: but when I spoke to customer service 10 min later they had my email, phone, name, address, order history etc all on file. Not sure who hired this person but they are not meant for a customer service position. Utter waste of my time and brought me nothing but frustration and bad vibes. Not sure I’ll feel excited to shop at this store ever again. I definitely did not feel welcome there. When I tried to call to clarify that the issue was resolved and notify the store that there may be an issue in their system there was no answer. I tried the number 8 times… It felt very shady.

I’m almost certain this is the first time I’ve ever left an Anthropologie store empty handed. To quote someone else’s review — the employees here are “sometimes friendly” and today wasn’t one of those times.

Anthropologie is one reason I visit Bridgeport Village. I like the atmosphere of this store and the merchandise they offer. The only element they fall short on is customer service. I have never been greeted upon entering the store or the entire time I shop here. Luckily, this isn't a big deal for me as I like to browse quietly without a salesperson constantly offering unwanted assistance. Anthropologie is a chain of about 200 stores worldwide. They sell women's apparel & accessories, intimates, home furniture & decor, beauty and gift items. The merchandise falls into five style categories: soft & delicate, Boho chic, easy cool, elegant classic and modern sporty. The merchandise is good quality and the prices reflect this. Anthropologie is open Monday thru Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 11am-6pm. There is plenty of parking available and bus 76 stops nearby. Anthropologie is located near Barnes & Noble, across the street from PF Chang's. I enjoy shopping at Anthropologie and recommend it!

Parker, a stylist at Anthropologie Bridgeport, is AMAZING. She represents the best of Anthropologie, which is not easy as this store is always tops in Customer Service. Thank you for all your time and help, Parker. She gave multiple customers individualized, professional and genuine assistance the day I was there. I hope someone High Up In Management can reward and recognize her excellence.
