The cash price is indeed low, and the service is amicable, but something weird is going on with this station.
I know my car and its gas gauge really well. I get very consistent mileage, and can very consistently track how much I will need.
I went at a very busy time, the pumps were pumping distinctly slow, and I was absolutely charged for more gas then my tank could have fit from where the gauge was at.
I don't think that I will be returning to this Arco and I am fairly confident that whatever federal or state authority is in charge of verifying and regulating these pumps needs to do a surprise inspection during a very busy hour,
Perfectly well aware that a lot of work goes into ensuring that gas pumps are fair and accurate, and that tampering, though not impossible, is somewhat difficult, but I am confident that something is going wrong at this specific Arco station.

scam here. Paid inside by debit card using PIN and still paid full price at pump. I think they depend on most people not realizing this or on not wanting to keep other people waiting as long as they did for a pump.

If you pay with cash or debit card, you get gas much cheaper!!! I just paid $3.96 today!!! I can't remember the last time I paid under $4.00 a gallon!!!!

Same experience as other recent users. Gas on sign says "debit/PIN" $3.93/gallon. I put my card in self serve, start fueling. 1/3 of the fill I look down and $4.43/gallon. I ask the attendant, who was fully smoking right outside the door with 8 pumps going full blast, and he tells me, "you need to come inside and pay for that price." No where on the pumps does it say that, and the sign on the street clearly says debit/PIN. I don't care as much about the cost as I do about the deceptive practice. Dear owner: SHAME ON YOU for your shady practice. For $6 you lost my business forever and got this review deservedly added. I have been a customer at this location since it was Astro in the 90s. I am pretty sure legal teams will be interested to know more about deceptive charges.

You have to PAY INSIDE to get the best price, PIN DEBIT or cash. I regularly go way out of my way to come here because the price is insane.
