“Huge Blick store!! I wish they had more mid-price-range paints (as opposed to just very cheap or very expensive) but otherwise I think this is a very comprehensive art store. There is a fiber arts arts section which is not particularly robust, but I don't expect that from Blick.”

“We were in town for the holidays and I was looking for a beginner knitting pattern and supplies for a gift. They had kits at the store but they were out, so instead I got wonderful recommendations for a pattern, good yarn and needles. The ad hoc kit was exactly what I was hoping for!!! The store was fully stocked with a wide variety of yarns. And the pricing was so reasonable. While we were winding the skeins for my gift yarn I also got a lot of advice for myself!! My favorite part about knitting is the community, and this shop exemplifies everything I love about this community. If I didn’t have to fly home I would have bought a whole sweater’s worth of their yarn just for me. I look forward to coming back the next time I am visiting Portland.”
