I've gotten some of my favorite things here. Even with a limited selection it's really well done. I just wish they had more accessible store hours.

This might be my new favorite food truck pod. Great variety. Large covered seating areas with fire places.

The Asylum offers a good choice of cuisine here. The food trailers are arranged around the perimeter of this food court. The beer selection. Is somewhat limited with only one trailer serving alcohol.

This place doesn’t allow dogs unless you could carry them but you won’t find that out until you’re already in the store and get rudely told that by lady that was working there. They should post this information on the front door to avoid situations like this.

I had a great experience purchasing furniture through Asylum. I and my daughter walked into the store just to browse and we were both struck by how many beautiful and unique pieces of furniture and accessories were there. They carry Scandinavian and modernist living room furniture and a wonderful assortment of other housewares. We noticed a pullout sofa that seemed like just the thing we had been looking for in other places without having any luck: a beautiful but compact piece that we could use as an extra bed. The owners of the store were right there to demonstrate it and show us the specs. It turned out it was a bit too wide for us, but there was a narrower "sofa chair" that could be ordered from the manufacturer, Luonto. Since there have been so many supply chain delays recently I didn't have high hopes that it would be deliverable anytime soon, but the owners checked to ensure that they actually had it in stock. They also walked us through how delivery would work: since we live about 45 minutes from Portland, I thought that might be a problem. But in fact they have a delivery service on hand that could bring it all the way to us and set it up with white glove service for a very reasonable fee. (We also could have picked it up at the store for nothing extra, but this was well worth it!) We put in the order and Anton, the owner, followed up promptly two days later to let us know that he had been working with the manufacturer to be sure they got the order and that it could be shipped soon. Within about two weeks we got a call from the delivery service to schedule the delivery, and then they re-confirmed the delivery window again two days in advance. Their delivery window was 9am-1pm, and they got to our house at 9:05. They brought the heavy chair up our stairs, set it up and took away all the packaging very professionally. We were really happy with how smooth and easy the whole process was. Anton emailed me the same day to check in and we were glad to share how happy we were. The sofa chair is perfect for our space and we were very impressed with the personal service and attention to detail. We will definitely be shopping there again.
