While the Athleta brand does things to ensure quality and some environmentally practices, the WASHINGTON SQUARE LOCATION HAS HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
DOWNTOWN Portland store is the only store I’d consider because they are great downtown! Washington Square location is Pretty Woman, Julia Robert’s level shaming… ! “BIG MISTAKE, HUGE!” I am not easily offended & have worked in customer service, but I’ll never purchase from WA Square & would choose a compared store like LULU because they train their people how to treat people.

I’m extremely disappointed in the service I just received. As a long-time “Icon” customer, I expected more understanding and flexibility—unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be back.
I’ve been on a weight loss journey and am still figuring out my new size. I recently tried to exchange a pair of pants that no longer fit me. While I understand the 30-day return policy, I was only at 45 days and hoped for a little grace as a loyal customer. That exception was not extended to me.
I manage a retail store myself and know that sometimes, bending a policy to retain a loyal customer is far more valuable than sticking to it and losing someone entirely. Instead of a solution, I was told I could upcycle the pants—which doesn’t help me at all. I’ve already given over a thousand dollars worth other clothes to a local charity.
Really disappointed in how this was handled.

The employees here are very kind and respectful while I shop! I’m not bothered while I shop and they’re still ready to help the moment I need it, which is fabulous. Also, I love this brand! No piece of clothing has ever disappointed me :)

I love Athleta! I have a dedicated section in my closet that specifically for Athleta items. They have high-quality and they stay up with the trends. BUT…. if you expect to have a relaxing experience while shopping guess again. This store practically attacks you as you try to shop. I understand being asked once or twice if I need a fitting room, but please God don’t ask me eight times before I make it to the back of the store. I know they’re doing what they told. The MANAGER needs to understand that while I’m shopping, I am trying to put together outfits, colors, & materials. I’m trying to remember what’s in the dressing room what’s in my hands please God stop asking me if I need to put my things in the dressing room or if I have a dressing room. Leave me alone and let me shop! The girls in the store are constantly hovering and watching which is not relaxing. By the time I left there, I was super frustrated. I will say that the girl in the dressing room (Molly) was extremely attentive and helped me with different sizes and choices. Perfect time to be attentive. I would’ve given a five star review, but I am sick and tired of walking into THIS store and being asked over and over again if I need a fitting room. I hope the MANAGER is reading this!

I absolutely love this store! A friend took me shopping at an Athleta store in another state, and i was floored at the quality of their products and the graciousness of their employees. Now i shop in a stire at home a couple times pwr year. Yes, their clothes are a bit more than others, but the quality and durability is worth the price, especially if you shop the semi-annual sales! The stoe team is fantastic at home too!

This is a family restroom at the Washington Square Mall the only disappointment in the restroom is that the toilet paper is almost 5 ft away from the adult toilet. Otherwise it's nice that they have a tiny toilet and sink for the little kids and then an adult thing and toilet for the parents.

Store was clean and greeter was friendly. Dressing room staff did not seem friendly to me or eager to help me find other sizes. Attendant did spend a lot of time with other customers and chatting with other employees. When I went to pay, the cashier was snooty and gave me lots of attitude. She was condescendingfor no reason. I believe I was treated poorly due to shopping with my children and being a minority. Wont be back.

I went shopping today with my daughter, and they were so racist towards us, we didn’t get help, and they were looking at us, we were trying to still. I’m sorry we don’t look white enough for you guys, I will never spend a penny in the store, you guys should treat everybody the same!! Bad

The quality and feel of the clothes here is amazing. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Sooooo comfortable!!!!

I love Athleta! I usually order on line, but ordered double of something so decided to take it back to the store. It was fun and received an extra 10% off the tank I purchased after I returned the other top.
