Auto Electric Specialties has been serving the Portland metro area since 1986, offering a wide range of automotive services. Specializing in electrical troubleshooting and repair, the shop handles issues with check engine lights, diagnostics, tune-ups, and DEQ services. They also provide oil changes, AC repairs, brake work, heater cores, timing belts, air bag repairs, and more for most foreign and domestic vehicles. Being family-owned and operated, the business is known for its honest and friendly service. Customers appreciate that the technicians call personally when their cars are ready and that the shop provides thorough information about vehicle issues. Despite sometimes being booked out weeks in advance, they often accommodate urgent repairs quickly; one customer praised having their car fixed in a day despite a long wait for an appointment. The shop has earned a reputation for honesty, reasonable pricing, and integrity, with many customers having used their services for over 30 years. Several reviews mention how Auto Electric Specialties diagnosed problems accurately and saved customers significant money, such as fixing issues for a fraction of dealership quotes. Overall, the shop is highly recommended for trustworthy, professional auto electrical and general repair services.
It's hard to find a place you can trust these days. I took my car in and they were so nice and listened to my concerns. By the time I got home they called me to tell me they were all done, and their price was very reasonable. If you are looking for a place you can trust Auto Electric Specialties is the place for you!!!

Good auto electrician close to Portland area. Not cheap, but the quality work is worth it. We brought in two older Jeeps and both were diagnosed/repaired professionally. Highly recommend.
