Oh my gosh - delicious laminated baked goods. Had a kougin annan and it was perfect. Tip - get the baked goods here and head to Case Study Roasters next door for coffee - great coffee and pleasant well-lit places to sit. Also nice to meet people as it has good acoustics and is not blasting music. A +++++

This is straight up one of my favorite places in Portland. This bakery is so good - I would go every day if I could ? Everyone is super friendly and it’s so cute inside!

Solid offerings with standouts of the apple bran muffins, the hand pies, and the ginger molasses cookies.

My favorite bakery in Portland. Fresh and healthy whole ingredients. Love the maple scones!

The croissants are amazing but 3 stars for the worker handling the pastries with her bare hands ... that's against health code. When I saw her grab my pastries with her ungloved hands, I was shocked and nicely asked for croissants that weren't touched by bare hands.. saying that I was ocd about that type of thing. But the reality is ... it's against health code.

I was here on a Friday afternoon around 12:30 pm . They were almost sold out . One Japanese lady introduced this spot to me . And I thought I want to try them out . It's a very small bakery shop and they have good stuff . Not lots of varsities but they all seems delicious. I picked 2 items ( cheese straw and plaques ) and I liked them both . I recommend this bakery .

The almond croissant here is THE almond croissant. A work of art that redefines what a croissant can be. Also, the figgy buckwheat scone is spectacular, so totally original, sweetness and texture and flavor held in mild tension and deep harmony.

The pastries I bought were delicious and they barely made it home to be shared with my family... whoops!

My wife purchased a fruit pie and 2 scones from a gift certificate we were given. The scones were good but contained only a small squirt of chocolate on the side end. The fruit pie was very disappointing with a taste and consistency of jam and the wheat crust edges adhered to the pan and it was very messy to cut out slices for our guests. The top of the crust did not hold together either. For $40 you need to offer a better pie.

Everyone was masked! Yes, only in the baggy blue ones, but at this point it's so appreciated to see anything being done to prevent a bio-safety level 3 pathogen (same level as anthrax and tuberculosis) from spreading. Pastries? Excellent!

Incredible pastries. The plain croissant is my favorite in all of Portland — crunchy, soft, chewy, with a slight cheesiness. So good!

Absolutely divine baked goods. Kouign amann was my favorite. But everything was perfection.

By far one of the best almond croissants I've ever had!
