I have been with Bank of America for over 10 years, and I decided to open with a credit union now.

Been going to BOFA for change since I’m a member right, been around for a while in 4 different locations. Unfortunately this location is the nearest to me and suddenly there’s this color women in the business area who’s been giving me attitude twice. I’m only asking for 20$ in 1 bills and 80 in 5bills not sure why she always has to make it a big deal. She’s only been for a couple of weeks since I’ve never seen her before and she’s made it a horrific and uncomfortable experience. I have asked her if I need my card and instead tell me to bring business card. I’d be happy to if I knew it doesn’t take much to give change back since I’ve had a nice and fast experience in the Broadway BofA and all Hillsboro BOFAS what do you all get for being rude ? And giving customers a hard time. Maybe go by the book since day 1 ? Not suddenly ask for a business card when I’ve had positive and comfortable experiences before with change given to me.

So I tried to open an account with BOA. All I can say is what a trip. When I got there I ask to open an account and they seemed all confused about how to do this. Finally someone came out and they wanted me to reveal my information at the front desk including my SS. I told them I'd typed it in for security reason. Then was asked to sit down. The next thing I know is I'm meeting the mortgage banker and he seems to not know how to process an application. He kept needing my information over and over and required a credit card or debit card with my id. Another 10 mins go by and someone else has to come in and help and I'm just sitting there being completely ignored. Just to add, from the moment I walked in and left, it was just an unfriendly experience. Finally they seemed to have things squared away getting my info in, it seemed they just were going to pick the plan they wanted me to have and just tell me what to do. He wanted to know how I was going to deposit money into the account to open, and told him let's do a cash advance transfer which I have done numerous times of times with my debit card and he was like you can't do that and that when I realize either he doesn't know what he's talking about or BOA seems to limit what you can do as a customer with your account. I grabbed my ID and second form of id and told them I'm not longer interested and left. I never felt so awkward in my whole life at a bank, and glad I didn't open an account as I don't feel BOA are there for the customers. Maybe they were having a bad day but how it was all handled was a bit creepy coming from a national bank.

Talk about rude bank staff! I forgot my debit card so I approached a teller with my state ID. She got upset with me and tried to say that my ID wasn't an acceptable form of identification! I had to argue with her to get my $! She finally said she'd let it slide but next time wouldn't help me without my card.

This is the worst bank I've ever had. Customer service is a robot called Erika who attempts to trick you with red tape and the "run around" and will direct you to Wells Fargo if you tell it's terrible. Nice try. You get a bad rating. Good luck with getting new customers!

Quick and great service from two employees yesterday. Line was short, and the employees were great to talk with. I wish I remembered their names!

Absolutely disgusting service from this branch, Sai in particular. Closed my accounts here due to lack of service and went to cash check, disrespectful. Snotty about their ridiculous fees per check. Just attitude that wasn’t needed. This is the very reason I will never open another account here.

I probably should’ve read the reviews before going there, such an awful way to receive people and not be willing to help. They are honestly terrible.

This is for Online Banking. BofA offers $300 for opening a new accnt. So I am trying it. WORST Customer service and interfaces EVER. The people are all nice .. they just work in a crappy system! I wanted to set up recurring payments in online banking. No button to do it. The first agent said there was a special # for online banking. I called that and it had all the choices, including online banking. One of the 4 agents I spoke to said that some cards don't allow that. Then I reminded him that I was doing online banking from my new bank account (not talking about a cc). He said oh. Another agent sent me to the place where you can add which account you're paying from and wanted me to be able to click on that account in order to set up recurring payments. during the 1 hr of hold time wading through all of this I have scoured the website for a way to message them. There is a message center - but I do not have the ability to enter a message. It appears to be a place where they can message me. 1 way ? ? ? I only found a phone #. No chatbot, nothing .. just the most expensive & frustrating way to do customer service - waiting on hold on a phone call. One agent just went silent when she was unable to figure out how to do recurring payments. After being on the phone silently for a bout 5 minutes and me asking if she was still there, she hung up. Poor girl .. she didn't know how to help - cuz there was no way to help! Each agent has just sort of failed out and passed me on to an endless hold with crappy "calming" elevator music. The last one I asked to speak to the Sup cuz I was breathing fire at that point. After being onhold for 20+ minutes, he returned to say that he was still waiting to get hold of a supervisor, but he had no idea how long that might take. 10 minutes later a message came on that they were suddenly having technical difficulties and they dropped the call. Seemed like a gimmick to get out of having to deal with something they didn't know the answer to - because this basic function is not part of their services?!! I ended up entering the payment individually for the number of payments left to pay that card off before the 0% interest offer expires. I'm sure I will leave the bank after I get the $300 ... but as you can see- I wouldn't even recommend trying to do that. This bank is an institution but sucks in terms of customer service and online banking account interface. I was pleased at the information provided when I logged online for my CC. Other than that, everywhere I turned it was a disaster.

Over 5 minutes after opening and the staff was not at all prepared. They were still counting money and having personal conversations loudly as myself and 2 other customers had been patiently waiting for several minutes. One of the ladies, likely a supervisor, was asked to help get the day started by one of the tellers, and she ignored the teller and went back to having a personal conversation across the whole bank. Very unprofessional and I'd be embarrassed if I were them.

Rude and slow. I'm not a customer, just stopping by with someone. Would never bank here. So glad taxpayers paid to bail out this poor excuse for a company. Eight people in line. Bank of Fraud. Oops... eleven people in line now.

I would have preferred to give no stars. It appears all the answers they have to any problem that people write about is to use an ATM or a number to call where the service is as bad or hard to believe worse. I think it is easier for them to just say no to any request and not look at the history they have with a customer. I have been with them for over 30 years but it will be coming to an end. I rarely use a branch but when I do I'd like some "customer service" but that is not happening at the Lloyd Center Branch.

Worst Bank of America branch and that’s saying something. Usually line is out the door due to lack of tellers and each teller is more incompetent than the next. If you have a problem with a teller, the manager is just as clueless.
