The crowd at this bar3 is out of line and over the top, I watched 3 patrons exit bar and immediately start harassing a gentleman who was with a woman who was acting like a child and was trying to make the gentleman walk home (and later find he's a disabled veteran)

Went in late Tuesday night with my boyfriend after a family function. I had been into Bar 3 only once before some months back. The first time was just shoulder shrug ok. Food was pretty tasty, service was decent. This time however, the service was amazing!!! We didn't get food this time as we had already eaten. The bartender with the amazing mustache made one tasty drink off the cuff. Some muddled fruit, vodka (marionberry?), soda drink. I wish I had asked him what he put in it because I will be stealing it! We will be back for the recipe and to try some of their breakfast all day items. I work at a restaurant and I could tell that both the cook and bartender were busy and at no point did either one of those guys give off the impression that they were. Cool as cucumbers. See you soon Bar 3!!!

I've never eaten here but the handful of times I've gone, I've never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and the regulars don't look at you funny. They have a good sized patio and everything is clean. One of my buddy's goes here a few times a week for breakfast so the food must be good.

Every time we've gone here to eat or for take-out we've been disappointed but we try Bar 3 again because it's convenient and they have local beers on tap. The atmosphere is dark and OK. The burgers are good but the other stuff is OK, and we were excited about the patio when they opened until it immediately became the smoker's lounge to where no non-smoker could sit there to enjoy a beer. We've tried multiple times. Tonight was the last straw. I ordered two cheeseburgers (we asked for no onions), one with slaw and the other with fries. I get there at dinnertime and there was hardly anyone there other than folks at the bar. The older gentleman behind the bar walks up to me and I let him know I'm here for take-out. He doesn't say hi, but grabs some food in a bag and hands it to me. I ask what it is and he says, "How should I know, I just got here." He hands me a receipt and I ask why there was an extra $1.00 charge on it (hadn't seen that before). He snapped back that the boxes are very expensive and walked away. No thanks for your purchase or bye. Just plain rudeness. It said no onions on the receipt but when I got the "bought-and-paid-for" boxes home, both burgers were slathered with tons of onions. Disappointed. We had high hopes when they opened but sadly, after a few years of trying here and there, we won't be back.

This place is like Cheers. The staff is amazing, the food is the perfect blend of salty and just enough grease, and a great selection of spirits and beer! Where everyone knows your name!

This is another one of our 'regular spots' for video slots, good drinks and awesome food. A solid menu, with everything from breakfast to steak. All the good liquors and bartenders who know how to mix. Video slots in a great location and an all-around great vibe. A neighborhood gem.

After a nice meal at Ploy's Thai, my Son suggested a nightcap at Bar 3. This is probably the closest thing to his neighborhood bar, which also has a modest pub food menu. My only surprise here, was dedicated area containing slot machines. I don't know Oregon laws on this subject, but I did briefly feel that I was back in Nevada, where this sort of thing is always in the background. Past that, our barkeep was efficient, and graciously accepted my offer to be carded, after my son was. At that point, a fellow patron commented that I just got under the wire age-wise. David ordered whiskey on ice, while I had a local draft craft beer. We enjoyed our drinks, and enjoyed chatting, including catching up with Gayle (who called in while we were here). We passed on another round, but one that will come on a future visit.

We're local to Bar 3 and want to love it, but there are a few things that hold it back. First the good: The cheeseburgers are great, the service is good, and the beer is cold. We've dined in and gotten take out.Bar 3 has a patio. If you're not a fan of cigarette smoke, you'll want to sit inside, however, as it's usually smoky. Also, last time we were there, some guy was blowing his nose right onto the patio's pavement which was disgusting. Maybe he was drunk (I mean, it's a bar). We haven't dined in since.Inside is your run-of-the-mill bar with some high-top tables, TVs, bar, etc. It's usually pretty busy. I've tried a few things on the menu, but the burgers are the only thing that has been a standout for me personally.I'm not writing Bar 3 off. Getting burgers for take-out has been a good thing when you have that craving and I can walk to it. So maybe we'll continue to use it for that. If they'd prohibit smoking on the patio, we'd go more often.

Such a friendly bar where people actually talk to each other! Becky is such a great bartender. Always smiling, remembers my name and ready to pour me a drink! And a good one at that!
