Non-existent communication from sales person. Purchased the same dishwasher from another local store.
Purchased a dishwasher because mine had broken. I directly told the salesperson that I did not have a working dishwasher and asked how long it would take to ship and install. He said about 1-1.5 weeks to ship, then he would reach out to put me in touch with an installer.
1 week, 2 weeks go by and nothing. I call to check and the receptionist says the dishwasher hasn't arrived. A month goes by, and there is still no communication. I call again and the receptionist says that the dishwasher still has arrived and has been there for a week, but no communication from the sales associate.
I wait another week and a half for a call or email from the sales associate. Finally, 1.5 months later, I called and processed a refund as I had already purchased and installed the same dishwasher from another local store.

We bought a Meile dishwasher and went with a preferred installer on Basco’s recommendation 2 years ago. The dishwasher is already broken and the installation was poorly done. The process overall was a headache with annoyances like incorrect invoice amounts, etc. While these annoyances happen, the culmination to an expensive product not lasting three years is pretty infuriating. We try to go with smaller businesses as much as possible, but we had less headaches with our Home Depot purchases made around the same time (which still last).

The worst place ever. Bought a washer that lasted only 2 years. Went back to Basco's to see what I could do about it and was told nothing. They were my best friends when I had to buy another washer that matched.

Absolutely HORRENDOUS customer service experience. We endured a heartache of an experience with non-replies for months, inaccurate product orders, and broken promises to order a replacement item for us that "slipped through the cracks". We ordered 30K in product for them for a remodel and couldn't even get a response for weeks and months on end. They don't care about their customers. Save yourself a headache and purchase from Eastbank or Pacific!

I want to share what a great experience we had working with Basco ...regrettably, I cannot. Purchasing a new range top and range hood from Basco was one of the worst purchasing experiences we have had since moving to the Portland Metro area! We ordered the appliances on 6.2.2023 from Lake Oswego in person. When we checked on the delivery in July Basco warehouse, the Basco salesman had no status, but the front desk told us that the appliances were in the warehouse and had been there for a week. After we paid the remainder due for the appliances, we arranged for our installer to pick up the range hood and range top. When he got to the Basco warehouse Basco was unbale to find the range hood that Basco had confirmed was ready for pick up and that we had paid for in full! The Basco salesman was unresponsive in resolving this for us and matter of fact to our situation. I wasn't until I contacted the Director of Stores for Basco, Cary Ely, that anything resembling resolution began. After that call the salesman called us to tell me that they did not have another hood, still could not find a replacement for the lost hood and would have to order a new one from the factory. Lead time was anywhere from 30-45 days to get the replacement. Once again, communication updates from Basco were poor unless we reached out to Basco. The range hood according to Basco arrived on or about 20 Sep 2023. We arranged with our installer to pick the appliances up on Oct 2, 2023, but not until Basco refunded 10% of the purchase price for this total FU. We were prepared to get a refund for the appliances becuase of how badly Basco had handled this mess... but we chose to stick with the order based on the refund. Dealing with Basco was a painful and frustrating experience. We had other kitchen work that needed to be rescheduled during this time period due to Basco losing the range hood. Basco never apologized for any of this.

I've worked with Basco for about a half dozen years and always had great experiences with them. Chris Duncan is my go-to salesperson. However after a refrigerator was delivered and we noticed and immediately reported a decent scratch on the brand new wood floors and notifed Chris - I didn't receive any customer service and it took multiple texts and calls for 3 weeks to get a response. Very disappointing.

Buying them was easy, but getting them to fix a fridge delivered with a faulty seal is impossible. No one calls or emails me back. I can't get on a repair schedule and I can't get them to return it either. I am stuck with a faulty fridge from day one.

After purchasing a new range, refrigerator, and dishwasher from Basco, we spurgled on a handle kit to match the handles on our new refrigerator with our new range. Opening the handle kit box I found the handles didn't match the stove's, they are brushed stainless, and not chrome.Returning the handles, the Basco salesman explained that there would be a 25% restock fee as the handles could not be re-sold as new due to me opening the box. For one, without looking at the handles how would I know the handles didn't match, and two, is there some quantum mechanic principle that says removing the tape from the end of a box, to look at an item makes it not new.

Unlike their competition, Basco appliances will stand by their customer. Thank you for helping us complete an order, match the prices and help us resolve a stressful issue that was seemingly impossible to do Standard TV & Appliance. Thank goodness for genuine businesses like Basco!

Basco is known for being a very high end store....catering to the elite. However, I am here to report that Basco is for EVERYONE. After going to several "discount" appliance locations, looking for a dishwasher, my mom and I decided to give Basco a try. Wow! Am I sure glad we did. The sales people are knowledgeable and approachable. They offer a wide range of options. They were not only able to meet my mom and I within our budget, but actually beat the prices of all of the other "discount" appliance locations out there. PERIOD. A special "shout out" to the logistics and delivery team! From sales to delivery...... Basco is a well oiled machine. We love our new dishwasher. Not one scratch or ding! No matter what your budget is.... Basco will meet you where you are at, and make sure all of your appliance needs are taken care of. Thank you Basco!!!

Basco recently sold us a Cove dishwasher. This was the simplest appliance purchase we've ever experienced, and it was also the most nice customer experience we've had recently. Jason was able to assist us; we arrived on Monday, and by Friday the dishwasher had been installed. We didn't feel any pressure to buy anything at all, and my husband and I loved how knowledgeable he was about the various dishwashers. They requested for additional measurements to make sure the dishwasher would fit the area and the panel even though they had options in store. We required a dishwasher that was panel ready. We appreciate the amazing experience and will return as soon as our refrigerator breaks!
