Was a great trip. The kids got new Skates! Big 5 has a huge selection of roller skates and roller blades. We all found everything we were looking for. Employees were very helpful and energy was awesome. Nice clean stocked store too!

Very terrible service! Especially in the sporting goods department dude was rude not wanting to help wouldn't look up from his phone. Ignoring us and the rest of the staff was just sitting around. It was one helpful person out all the employees and he worked in the shoe department.

We came on a Tuesday for one of their online coupon deals, getting a wagon for $85 as opposed to $130. We were pleasantly surprised they had the wagon, all clerks were kind and courteous as well as knowledgeable. So far the wagon is good, definitely a store we would come back to despite the location and surrounding situations happening nearby.

They decided to close at 4:30 but it says online that they are open until 830 and they didn't tell me when I came in that they were planning on closing four hours early. And the three or four of them were having a loud discussion for the half an hour I was there about how nobody wants to put away anything in the back and there's lots of boxes everywhere. And they have no public bathroom.
