Needed to release some stress and upon grabbing the Groupon, this place did the trick.

I have been practicing yoga here seriously since 2014, like every other day. The teachers are all unique and fantastic. The instructions are the same, although nuanced by individual teacher stories. It's so healing that I cannot recommend it enough. I'm 65 and have been doing yoga since I was young. I'm still young by practicing here.

After a VERY long time away from in-studio yoga practice and Bikram (thanks to Covid) it felt so good to get back in the hot room. The thing about Bikram is you always know exactly what to expect, and it was amazing to get back in the saddle. The studio is still as clean and pleasant as it ever was. There is sufficient changing room and 2 showers.A BYFS newsletter with a great deal in it (10 classes for $120) lured me back in and I’m not upset about it. Looking forward to more classes in the near future and creating a regular practice again.Thank you Danelle and team!

A wonderful, truly Bikram yoga studio, featuring the original postures and 2 breathing exercises. The teachers are amazing, with a unique sense humor added to the dialog. The 90 minutes is a complete mind body workout, there is nothing like it.

I signed up for an online zoom class via mindbody online. I did not receive a zoom link for the class. I contacted the studio for a refund, but they did not get back to me. :(

I attend the Kauai studio twice a year while visiting. All the teachers are excellent and the studio has good energy. I’m especially appreciative of the live classes during the pandemic. It has allowed me to practice from home and find the peace I need right now in these strange times. Mahalo to the owners and teachers. Namaste shanti

I started my Bikram Practice at a studio in Mesa Arizona 4 years ago. After moving to the Portland area several years ago I tried out several studios trying to find one that felt right. Bikram Yoga Freemont Street definitely fit the bill. The owners Gretchen and Danelle are both wonderfully supportive and positive making sure to do all they can to ensure visitors and regulars alike feel welcome and appreciated. There are a fair amount of instructors who teach here but all have their own unique spin and focus in classes. I have been coming to the studio on and off for the past couple of years now and couldn't be happier. Their is a true sense of community that you feel from the staff as well as the fellow yogis. They recently have made several upgrades to the studio including replacing the carpeting last week. All in all you couldn't ask for a better place to center your practice. To anyone out there looking for an amazing yoga studio I hope this helps. Namaste

I highly recommend Bikram Yoga on Fremont St. Hot yoga has really changed my life. I feel so amazing after. It is really a beautiful experience. The teachers are wonderful and help guide your practice. I absolutely love it here. If you are looking to get in touch with yourself, challenge your body and mind, or just simply let go, get out of your head, and enjoy the moment, this is the place to be.

I thought I would give this place a try because they had a good new member deal. The other members are warm and respectful. But I was very put off by the name and this should have been a red flag. Some of the teachers were good, but most were not likable for me. One kept telling personal stories while we held poses. It was very strange. Another shamed me for sitting out for one pose- she said, "Can you join us?" When I told her I needed to sit that one out (it hurts my back) she said, "Well at least cross your legs." Of course I will never go back.

This place I was very hopeful about due to it being hot yoga. Me and my friend have been searching for a home hot yoga studio over the last 2 years. To make a long story short the instructor named YOUNG Was Passive aggressive throughout the entire time being there. And told us we weren't allowed to wear or have our shoes upstairs. Which is understandable but it being our first time we did not know. Then during the extremely quickly instructed class she told us they would be closed next week for floor repair, so I quietly repeated it to my friend when young blurted out we are NOT allowed to talk like "that". And she knew it was unfair but basically shut up. Then on the way out my friend asked her where was the laundry bin for towels and she (YOUNG) said. "Oh, you didn't listen, it's in the bin". As if we were children. At the end before I left when she could of just said good job see you next time. She said oh I could tell you guys haven't been or practicing that's why I didn't say anything or pretty much help us during the session. A chance she had to be encouraging and use great customer service she let her ego get the best of her and was passive aggressive and negative. We have been searching for a positive and meditative yoga studio for a long time and we have failed once again. I truly hope the floor change gets the HORRIBLE MILDUE REEKING SMELL out of the classroom because that horrible attitude mixed with the smell didn't leave me with any Zen. Only stomach ache and stress.
