Great staff and very easy process. You get fitted for the size you like, then pick from their lineup. This way you don't try on 1000 things which is exhausting. I highly recommend spending the extra money on these clothes.

Heard about Bonobos through people at business events and conventions, and finally found some time to check it out. Was super ecstatic when I saw that they had a location right here in Portland. The staff was friendly, but the store is just for basic fitting and display—no inventory to take home, which was a letdown.
I went in wanting to grab two pairs of pants with polos to go with them, but there was a slight awkwardness in the room that kept me from buying more. Couldn’t quite put my finger on it—maybe I was overthinking—but it felt like I was bothering them. I ended up with just the two pants and headed over to Nordstrom for the polos.
As an entrepreneur and owner of multiple businesses, I see that as wasted opportunity.

I came in to find a suit for a wedding and was immediately greeted by the 2 kind gentlemen working there. Philip was exceptional in helping me pick out a suit, giving me great feedback on the fit for each piece and making adjustments so it all fit just right. He was calm, kind, and a pleasure to converse with, making the entire process a breeze. Thank you Philip!

I was told multiple incorrect dates as to when I could expect to try on the color and style I wanted to purchase. I was delayed so much I was forced to change where I bought suit or else risk not having it in time for my WEDDING. Wound up giving Indochino my time and money. Very disappointed in bonobos, will not return and will happily tell all to avoid it.

I made an appointment to do some returns and exchanges. It couldn't have gone more smoothly. I even picked up a couple oxfords while I was there. Great clothes, especially for slim guys like myself.

Excellent shopping experience! I made an appointment online to meet with a guide at the Portland store to help me measure and purchase a suit for an upcoming wedding. I was met by Philip, who was very knowledgeable and assisted me in finding the right suit in the right size. He made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. I plan to purchase additional garments from this brand in the future. Highly recommended!

Thanks Philip for an excellent shopping experience - he worked with me on sizing (top reason to shop here), and gave suggestions while encouraging me to select things that I like. He also has a calm and friendly demeanor, and even remembered me when I returned a few weeks later - can't say enough good things.
Note for his colleague Carly: as I was about to purchase $350 in linen shirts and shorts, she asked me if I was shopping because I was between jobs. At best, an ill-advised sales question, and at worst: not great racial optics, given that she is white and I am BIPOC in a city like Portland. If Philip hadn't stepped in, I probably would have left without completing the sale.

If you need an affordable suit that doesn't look affordable, this is your place. I was helped by Philip Hartman, and could not have asked for a better experience. Philip left no details unnoticed and made sure I left with a perfect fit. I was given me the biggest discount possible, and I don't think I've ever looked better.

Mixed bag. Love their clothes. Great service a few times, sometimes too many clingy staff that lack boundaries. Then a bizarre experience this weekend when a staff member directed me to purchase other items because there “definitely wouldn’t be any left” of what I actually wanted. I left, placed the order I wanted in the first place online while en route home, and they arrive tomorrow. Missed opportunity for the sales person and not a great customer experience.
