I go here like three times a year. I live close. It is my least favorite, because everything is expensive, bad parking lot, there is no expertise - but most of all they are hardcore on their return policy. I wittnessed them shouting at someone trying to return something from another ace. It is a bit much for me. I make mistakes with my purchases all the time. I don't want to be given a hard time on any level. I am out.

I guess this is a bad neighborhood I was told... Nonetheless, it was just about the only Ace Hardware Store that was still open and I could get to in time before closing... MAJOR SCORE! I GIVE 5 STARS FOR HAVING THE ITEMS ON THE INTERNET IN STOCK THAT THEY SAID WERE IN STOCK. Usually. I'm racing to the store trying to get there to get whatever it is I need and then I'm looking for the item that online promises they had in stock. Then looking and looking and looking, only to have my heart ripped out and disappointed. The associate says, I have no idea what you're talking about we have nothing like that in our store... Those things are never right anyways! I pull out my phone to prove I am not going insane and show them the exact item(s) that they said they have and it specified that said item(s) were in aisle so and so ... Then they continue to say don't ever believe those. I absolutely hate that, it's so irritating that they can lie just to get people in their store I'm not talking about Ace hardware. I'm talking about most stores... Mainly big grocery chain stores that guarantee that they are the only one within so many miles that say they have something in stock... Come on, i cannot be the only one this has happened to right? Anyway there was also this super helpful & nice associate that didn't rush me (even though it was 5 mins until closing) He was very polite and guided me to the Master padlocks that I had seen online and they claimed to have in stock.. WHICH THEY DID! He also helped me pick out a pack of multi grit wet sand paper. Thanks again =)

It's a hardware store. High prices and no bathroom. The people who primarily work in the city core must be miserable, none of the hardware stores have bathrooms anymore. Very glad I mostly work in the suburbs.

I have been looking for this wonderful rust cleaner everywhere. Winks. It works magic on your dirty glass pipes. A couple drops, swirl it around using q-tips and ? brand new pipe. Make sure to rinse it out after using this product, it is acid you know.Not too bad on rust either.

Lots of great good stuff...I like to spend it with anybody but HD so...I call in, yes we have 2 in stock, I arrive...sorry we can't find them...must have gotten nicked...and that's why HD gets my ? money.

The young girl working the counter was very rude. She was too busy looking at her phone to be bothered with answering our questions and when we checked out, she snatched the money from me and never said one word to us. Not thank you for shopping at Ace or goodbye or anything. She acted as if it was an inconvenience to do her job and couldn’t muster up a faint grin through the scowl she kept the entire time. I love shopping at Ace and do so all the time where I’m from. Just so happens that I am out of town today shopping and didn’t have a pleasurable experience that I usually have when visiting in Ace Hardware.!

Great show with great staff. I got a piece of glass cut and it didn't fit the frame. I should have looked closer before leaving the store. Oh well. They cut it square... I made the frame slightly off lol

When I walked thru this store I felt a level of nostalgia I haven't felt in years. The mom and pops small business feeling. Some pricing was nostalgic as well...I recommend this save hardware over any I've been to in decades

Got A Big 9V, Battery There Off The Shelf.. Must Of Been 1/2 Dead, Didn't Last But A Couple Uses B4 Fading Out. A Bit Disappointing!

I like going here instead of the big box stores as much as I can. The staff is always so helpful and they have a great selection
