We needed to rent a large vehicle for moving in a convenient location and this place fit the bill. One phone call was all it took to get the vehicle we needed and they honored an AARP discount. Mark called me a day ahead of time to confirm the vehicle which worked out perfectly. Mark provided us with excellent customer service and made the rental process very easy. Thank you, Mark for all your help and for being there when we needed you. I would highly recommend this location.

Took over an hour to get my vehicle, and they didn’t have the vehicle I’d reserved. Made me late getting back so I got charged for another day. The guy I closed out with was huffy about my bringing it back late. It sucked and I’m not going back. Ever.I recommend the Enterprise rental center just down the road. Better, newer vehicles, better selection, adequate staffing, and *way* faster, better service.

These guys are amazing. Super friendly & helpful. I rented a moving van. They let me know to contact my insurance company prior to arriving if I was trying to use my personal insurance. Told me exactly what to say to be prepared when I show up. Told me the insurance price per day w/ them in case I couldn’t use my personal. But, I could so it was all good.When I went to pick up the van they were quick and diligent. They checked the van for any damage. Which the van was brand new and no damage. The van has Apple car play, Bluetooth, AC, rides like a dream & is the nicest moving van I’ve ever seen. Love that they keep up to date with modern vans.Overall, these guys raise the bar on how renting a truck should be done. I would not rent from any other company.

Atrocious customer service. Picked up a one way 16' truck to move from San Diego to Portland. Upon returning the truck to this location I was informed that I was responsible for providing copies of my paperwork so they could properly bill the SD location for gas. I was specifically told multiple times when picking up that the gas was at 7/8th of a tank and to return it to the same level. If you don't, there's a $30 fee plus $10 a gallon to fill to the right level. I send what I was given but it wasn't enough (apparently he needed the walk through copy and couldn't pick up a phone and do it himself) for this branch operator who proceeded to attempt charging an additional $72 for doing what I was told picking up.First time I've ever experienced a business putting the onus on a customer to do the work for them. Do not rent from this location, you'll regret it.

Had the worst experience with budget from beginning to end. I moved across states and the 1. Did not honor the price they originally quoted me in an email and charged me over $200 dollars more than originally quoted. 2. The truck was horrendous, dirty check engine light on and front passenger tire was messed up. 3. When returning the vehicle the associate argued with us that because the fuel gage wasn't OVER the full line but on the full line it wasn't full and they wanted to charge me an additional fee. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEIR SERVICE! I was disrespected, treated poorly and argued with every step of the way.

Booked a reservation in mid July for August 3rd (Res#0891047877308). When I phoned Budget to see what time of day my reservation was for, they told me it was cancelled by the store where I was supposed to pick it up 5856 NE Columbia Blvd. When I phoned that store and spoke to Abukar, he told me they cancelled my reservation because they are completely out of trucks. Well, isn't that why I had the reservation? And more importantly, had I not accidentally found out myself the reservation was cancelled, I would've really been stuck. Instead I managed to get a rental from Uhaul but SHAME on Budget for just cancelling my reservation and not giving me any notice whatsoever. So any of you reading this, don't trust these guys. They can't hold a reservation for you and they won't notify you either. You rent at your own risk here.

Don’t rent from here. Horrible experience. They said I didn’t return the truck but I did. Spent two hours arguing with them and then they found the truck. It was a paperwork error on their side. Don’t rent from here. Rent from Enterprise down the street.

My experience here was so exceptionally awful I felt compelled to write a review. My partner reserved a truck online, and was given a cost estimate of $60. We showed up early, and still ended up waiting for about half an hour for them to handle the one customer ahead of us in line. The guy who helped us looked like a budget Joe Rogan, I guess keeping with the theme, and was moderately rude to us, I guess he was offended that our insurance covered the truck rental and he couldn't sell us theirs? Still not sure what he was so angry about. We were charged $250 for the rental, with no explanation for the price disparity, except that "the website was wrong". Would have walked away then, but were moving and didn't want to risk not getting a truck. The vehicle itself was fine, although significantly older and dirtier than anything on display. On the whole, would have been a three star experience if not for the price gouging. Will be using U-Haul next time, lesson learned.

Summary of this review never rent from budget. A confirmation is not actually a confirmation. I reserved a truck a week in advance and when I got there they notified me that they did not have a truck they knew they did not have a truck but they failed to let me know that there would be no truck available for me the. They first tried to blame corporate corporate blamed them and then corporate said you should’ve called before going there to confirm there was a truck available for you as a owner of a rental company if if I am unable to fulfill something I don’t continue renting it out and putting customers out of their way intentionally the incompetency of all the customer representatives I spoke to is very disheartening The last representative I was speaking to hang up on me mid sentence the most unprofessional bunch of customer representatives I have had the miss fortune of working with

I made reservations to rent a cargo van from Budget so that I could move my daughter back home from college. The reservation was made May 29th for a June 13th move. On the afternoon of June 12th, I received an email saying that my reservation had been "cancelled." I called Budget Customer Service, who told me that they cancelled because they didn't have any trucks. They said that their service manager would call back within two hours with a plan for another vehicle nearby. They never called back. This was impressively awful customer service. Thankfully, UHaul had a truck available. Never again, Budget!
