“The ladies that work here are all super sweet, I love the big chocolate fountain when you walk in and how they change their setup every season. They also give free samples of different chocolate each day. Just a great place to come bring your family and enjoy the great smells of chocolate and candy. Super affordable as well!”
“The smell of Joe Brown's Carmel Corn still sends me back to my youth. It's instant, delicious nostalgia, the recipe is the same as I remember, and it's distinctly Joe Brown's. I do think, however, that recently, the operation has some room for improvement. I've bought popcorn there that seemed like it was at least a day old, which is OK because it keeps, but I think there is value in getting the fresh stuff. My advice would be to pop fresh popcorn daily, before open, and sell the day-old stuff at a discount. As much as I enjoy the nostalgia, the Lloyd Center location also needs some maintenance and refreshing, and I think that can be a little bit of a turn off to people who aren't Joe Brown's converts already.”
