“The candy is very good, but unfortunately a lot of plastic is used in the packaging. I would buy it more often if less plastic was used--I try to create as little plastic garbage as possible.”
“Every year I travel from Portland Oregon to ash debula, Ohio, and I always go in and buy 4 pounds of their nuts and chews to take to my friend's house. They wait for this candy and it is the best. Candy in the world.”
“Upscale and delicious - and still priced well enough to be accessible for specialty items. We got a Dubai bar, chocolate covered potato chips and chocolate covered marshmallows for our kids for a special holiday gift and they loved them. We've had most of their other chocolates and they are all so good. Highly recommend!”
“Best carmel corn and best cheese corn I've ever had, and it's not even close. I'll literally drive across town to come pick up some bags. Absolutely love them!”
“Kristin was really helpful and patient with me. I took a long time to figure out what I wanted to get our family for Christmas. I could tell that she really cared about making it a good experience. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves!”
“My favorite place to go for incense. They have the handmade earthy smelling kind I like, plus all the classics. Lots of other nice items and candy too which is fun. I will go out of my way to make it to this spot. Highly recommend”
“Lots of candies, sodas and silly knick knacks. Has various vintage devices like the photo booth and fortune teller. Gives off a retro futurism vibe. Stop by if you ever see it.”
“The ladies that work here are all super sweet, I love the big chocolate fountain when you walk in and how they change their setup every season. They also give free samples of different chocolate each day. Just a great place to come bring your family and enjoy the great smells of chocolate and candy. Super affordable as well!”
“The smell of Joe Brown's Carmel Corn still sends me back to my youth. It's instant, delicious nostalgia, the recipe is the same as I remember, and it's distinctly Joe Brown's. I do think, however, that recently, the operation has some room for improvement. I've bought popcorn there that seemed like it was at least a day old, which is OK because it keeps, but I think there is value in getting the fresh stuff. My advice would be to pop fresh popcorn daily, before open, and sell the day-old stuff at a discount. As much as I enjoy the nostalgia, the Lloyd Center location also needs some maintenance and refreshing, and I think that can be a little bit of a turn off to people who aren't Joe Brown's converts already.”
“We, family of 6, attended the Build a Bar event this morning. It was fun, educational, and yummy! Lots of great samples to demonstrate the information being conveyed.
From one of three chocolate choices, white, milk, or dark chocolate, we created our own bar by slecting from a wide selection of toppings.
I highly recommend this event and Creo Chocolate!”
