I would highly recommend the Carolyn Hoty Team, and our Realtor Carrie Koehler! My wife and I had just moved up to Portland from Southern California for work, and needless to say we were very unfamiliar with the area, the market and the state laws. We selected the Carolyn Hoty Team to help guide us through this process because of their attention to detail, intuitive questions and extensive experience. Our Realtor, Carrie Koehler, got started immediately by showing us around multiple cities in the Portland Metro Area, and giving us valuable insights into the pro's and con's of each area. She was very patient with my wife and I as we evaluated several different cities, architectural styles, and neighborhoods, and eventually helped us narrow down our search to the right home for our family and lifestyle. I also really appreciated that Carrie was always on time, professional and very responsive in answering all of our questions throughout the process. Although the market was difficult to navigate, Carrie never gave up and helped us find our dream home in Beaverton that checked all of our boxes and more! My wife and I have bought and sold 1 other home in our lifetime, and I must say that this closing experience was the easiest one that we have been through thanks to the guidance and resources of the entire Carolyn Hoty team. We are relieved to have found such a fantastic real estate team and look forward to working with them in the future should the need arise. I would especially recommend this team to any "out of state" transplants that are unfamiliar with the area, they truly know how to make you feel welcome and find that perfect place. Carolyn and her team have always been amazing to work with. I’ve bought and sold homes with her half a dozen times. This last transaction she helped us with had a few hurdles, she resolved them with tact and grace. After having our home listed with another agency for five months with only six showings and no offers, we sought out recommendations in searching for highly successful agents. We selected the Carolyn Hoty team based on those recommendations and the number of sales during a very difficult twelve-month period. When we first met Carolyn, we were struck by her professionalism, confidence and immediately realized why she was so highly recommended.
We were very impressed with her marketing plan, data-based assessment on determining pricing, staging our home in a way that showcased its best features and the creation of a photo gallery that provided potential buyers with views of the home that enhanced every aspect.
Great choice on our part! Eleven days later we had four offers and a pending sale. We had been following homes in our area like ours that had been on the market for months, so the results were beyond our expectations.
