I needed CVRC when my cat jumped off the counter and busted his leg. He ended up with a ruptured CCL and luxating patella.
The Urgent Care I took him to after the injury (not CVRC, I don't live locally) told me he needed surgery and warned me that it would likely be a month or more before getting in with a surgeon.
I called 3 different clinics and made appointments with all 3. CVRC was the earliest available appt (only about a week later) and said they could do surgery within a couple of days of the appt, as long as my cat was a candidate. The second clinic was a couple of days after CVRC, and they could also do the surgery shortly after the appt. The third clinic was about 1.5 weeks after that, and their surgery would be up to 6 weeks after the appt.
I went to CVRC and was SO impressed. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The clinic was clean and calm. The vet nurse who took my cat's history was attentive and thorough.
Then there's Dr Wagner. He deserves a comment all his own! He came in and thoroughly but simply explained my cat's injury and the surgical options, which one he recommended and why. He clearly knows his stuff and cares about doing the right thing for your pet. My cat's urgent care imaging wasn't the best, and I feared CVRC was going to want it repeated (requiring sedation again, and more $) but Dr Wagner was able to figure out what he needed by exam and the imaging we had, and didn't require more imaging to proceed. He went over post-op care, meds, and answered all of my questions. I felt heard and cared about, not rushed which is so common nowadays.
I immediately booked my surgery and canceled with the other 2 clinics.
So from injury to surgery was only 1.5 weeks with CVRC, such a relief compared to the estimate I had been given!
My cat's surgery went smooth, the clinic kept him overnight for monitoring and pain control before sending him home, which I appreciated. They welcomed my call to check on him that evening, sent me pics of him recovering, and let me know they had given him a sweet nickname and were loving on him a lot. Once he was home, Dr Wagner was very responsive when I called for questions/concerns/med adjustment needs.
My kitty is now doing great. He went from near complete lameness to an almost normal gait already, in about 2 months.
If I have a future need for surgery for my pets, I will use CVRC.

I had to take my young cat in for injuries that did indeed require emergency care. I was distraught and the staff were very compassionate towards my cat and me. They also did an excellent job treating my cat's injuries. I highly recommend Cascade Veterinary Clinic for your animal's emergency needs!!!

Every person I encountered in this office was great: the vet, the front office (Jen), and the vet tech. Everyone was so kind and compassionate. Also, there was hardly a wait time (which I know varies upon circumstance). I had a very positive experience and I high recommend. I also found pricing to be very reasonable.

During consultation the Veterinarian explained the issue and procedure very clear and understood.
Communication was very appreciated by calls, email, and text.
My dog is home resting now. The surgical area looks very good.
Very happy with the outcome. Veterinarians, assistants, and office staff were all very nice and welcoming.

The urgent care I called suggested I bring my dog here. The front desk is welcoming and friendly as were the vet techs and the Dr I saw with my dog Blue. Things couldn't have gone worse for her health, but it was nice to have friendly but straight forward information. They gave us meds and resources for our dog.

I had to bring in a stray that I found in really bad shape. The staff and doctors here are some of the kindest caring humans that I was honored to have help me during this stressful time. The care and compassion they gave this poor kitty was beyond what I expected. I have no words to express my thanks for what they did.

If you’re having an emergency DO NOT come here. extremely unreliable care. what do you mean you’re not taking emergency patients? i thought this was an emergency hospital.

Dr. Wagner and his team are amazing ?. He was very detailed and thorough when explaining the surgery our dog needed and the staff took great care of her. Everyone was patient and answered all our questions and concerns. I would highly recommend of your dog needs orthopedic care!

Very happy with my experience here. The vet was kind and explained everything in great detail. The wait wasn't too long unlike other "emergency" facilities that have a 20 hour wait. It's unfortunate that there is such a shortage of veterinarians but I understand as it would be a very difficult job to have.

My cat suddenly couldnt stand up, or keep her food down. We called Dr.Rob, and they took us at 5am. This was hard. Ozzy cat was my friend. We had no choice, we had to put him down. My daughter and i were so upset. The dr. Came in and gave us the bad news, ozzy had a blood clot that paralyzed his back paws.He honestly wanted to make our pain go away. He and his nurse looked like they were very sad for us! I live in newberg, so i went to Tigard, and im so happy they were there. My fur baby is being buried today. Its agonizing.Dr. Rob and staff.....THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!Ill be back, Michele Albrecht and Jennifer Salgado

I had to say goodbye to my sweet cat tonight, and the Cascade team was so supportive, caring, and professional. They saw us quickly, were very clear in their communication, and made sure us and our cat were taken care of with kindness and patience. ❤️

I came across them accidentally and they were very nice and cheaper to have my Bubba cremated with an engraved urn. Unlike Dove Lewis and no answer no help for me/my dog and gave me the killing instructions on how to get my dog better. Not letting him drink water because of puking and cascade veterinarian clinic has been a bright light
