My cat suddenly couldnt stand up, or keep her food down. We called Dr.Rob, and they took us at 5am. This was hard. Ozzy cat was my friend. We had no choice, we had to put him down. My daughter and i were so upset. The dr. Came in and gave us the bad news, ozzy had a blood clot that paralyzed his back paws.He honestly wanted to make our pain go away. He and his nurse looked like they were very sad for us! I live in newberg, so i went to Tigard, and im so happy they were there. My fur baby is being buried today. Its agonizing.Dr. Rob and staff.....THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!Ill be back, Michele Albrecht and Jennifer Salgado

I had to say goodbye to my sweet cat tonight, and the Cascade team was so supportive, caring, and professional. They saw us quickly, were very clear in their communication, and made sure us and our cat were taken care of with kindness and patience. ❤️

I came across them accidentally and they were very nice and cheaper to have my Bubba cremated with an engraved urn. Unlike Dove Lewis and no answer no help for me/my dog and gave me the killing instructions on how to get my dog better. Not letting him drink water because of puking and cascade veterinarian clinic has been a bright light

We have been going to CVRC for over 10 years and have always had very good experiences. From the front desk staff (Jennifer is awesome) to the techs, to the Doctors, everyone is so compassionate, caring and competent. When my dog recently tore her ACL, we brought her in to CVRC where Dr. Moore evaluated her and surgically repaired it within a few days. We highly recommend CVRC for anyone needing specialty care for their pets.

Took my dog there for an emergency. She had eaten something she shouldn't and was having symptoms. They were so kind to me and reassuring. They helped my sweet pup and didn't charge me an arm and a leg for it either. Wonderful staff. Highly recommend.

The staff is friendly. Dr Lewis is knowledgeable and takes time explaining what is going on with my dog as well as possible causes and treatment options. They also explain the cost breakdown so I have options to make decisions.

We had to put our precious pit bull down Saturday. We had been in on Friday to put her down. Dr. Lewis was amazing. He fell in love with her and after an exam, we discussed options and felt there was a treatment plan that may give her more time and be healthy and happy. We tried it. Sadly, Saturday she declined and we couldn't get to take her meds. We took her back. The day shift Vet was just as amazing. They were caring, sweet and comforting. There was a slight mix up on cost from what night shift Friday told us. Long story short, my (adult) daughter was handling financials and wasn't there Saturday. They held her body for my daughter to call in Saturday night. Night shift adjusted everything for us. They went above and beyond. They will be our go to for emergencies with our kitties in the future.

Cascade Veterinary Referral markets themselves as a specialized hospital for emergency and complex veterinary cases. However, for our dog, their care fell far below the standard expected from any veterinary. Their lack of knowledge and sub-standard care resulted in days of suffering for our dog and days of emotional anguish for us as we watched our sweet boy suffer.Cascade didn't conduct the necessary tests to fully diagnose his condition. They assured us he didn’t have cancer and that he had a chance for recovery, if we admitted him to their care. When we asked, they said he was not in pain and gave him no pain medicine. After 3 days at Cascade, his condition had not improved and we moved him to another veterinary hospital. It took the other veterinary hospital only 3 hours to diagnose his cancer and that he was bleeding internally around his heart, his lungs, and into his stomach. Not only did he have no chance of recovery, he was in severe pain. They seemed shocked that we were not told euthanasia was the only humane thing to do. We are racked with guilt that we trusted Cascade so completely, that we didn’t push harder for pain treatment or question the thoroughness of their testing. We are not medical professionals, but we felt something wasn’t adding up and we should have trusted our guts.Cascade charged us thousands of dollars for their services- charges that should never have occurred as our poor boy never had a chance at recovery. It feels like we’re being asked to pay them for making him suffer. We asked Cascade to review the charges and treatment provided. After being told they were reviewing, we never heard from them again and they won’t return our calls. We are heartbroken at the loss of our sweet dog and have to live with knowing his last days were full of pain and that if we had taken him anywhere but Cascade, he would have peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge without additional suffering. Spare yourselves and your pets and take them anywhere else.

They were not in fact open 24/7. They weren't open at all. There is a sign on the door to call for other emergency vets. Those vets were 6-10 hours out for seeing your emergent dog. Would not recommend.

They did little to nothing for my dog didnt even see the huge cut along side hit toung after explaining he had a stick break while playing n he was acting like he was in pain. Its over an hour away as is but they didn't even give me his meds I had to drive 3 hours total to get his meds the next day. They don't seem to care because I still have yet to recieve a email with my bill! Find another emergency vet for ur animal!!

Update- I am very pleased with my experience here Being stressed about my pet made me a bit impatient but after speaking with the caring staff and being refunded for test that wasnt needed I can say that yes I would definitely recommend this emergency vet clinic to anyone who cares about their pet. But bring your patience please because with everyone playing catch up after the pandemic it can take a min to figure stuff out just know that they do care!! Thx for caring for my Lulu!? took my 1 year old dog here all of the staff were very kind to us. It did take awhile 4-5hours actually but being an emergency vet I knew we were in for a wait.they provide drinks and it's in a beautiful wooded area.
