If they don’t have it, you truly don’t need it. Very impressive place.

This company is an icon. But lately (late 2023) things are slipping. A warranty repair on a Milwaukee tool took 3 MONTHS! They didn't even look it over for 2.5 months due to the labor shortage. (Covid seems to have caused so many workers to disappear...LOL)

A tool-lover's paradise. Catering to the construction trade, CHD also has Saturday hours for DIY types. Highly recommended.

Every time I'm in home depot trying to flag down an employee while they avoid eye contact... I wish I was here instead.Great shop, don't buy your tools anywhere else. They even do repairs.

Holy cow. Got a smoking deal on some Makita goodies, almost feel like I got some counterfeits! Jokes aside, I got a new impact with a 18V/4.0 amp battery for less than $160 out the door. Home Depot sells the tool itself for $159, and the battery (which they didn't have in stock) would've been an extra $139. Can't wait to share my paychecks with this company in the near future

If you know anything about tools, this is the place to buy them. They sell and service all the major brands. The service team is the most knowledgeable in the business and they can repair your broken or damaged tool quickly and get you back on the job.

When the switch on my 6" Fein random orbital sander failed, I took it to Charles Day Co. When I went back to pick up the tool, I was blown away by their very reasonable hourly repair rate. Very happy customer!

Very Large selection of power tools. Only place where ai can go and buy just a makita drill, brand new, tool only, in a bin, for a reasonable price. Oh, there's a bin fulla batteries? Sure, I'll grab a few!

Highly knowledgeable and available employees at an awesome local tool retailer that hosts events for the community. They came in clutch with regards to expedited repair of a Bosch table saw mid-project. Despite the 15-20 minute drive and larger box stores available closer to me, happy to patronize this excellent business!

Came into repair my drill but they quickly identified it as too far gone and recommended a new one which would be cheaper. I browsed and ended up with a steal on a close out of a Grip Rite 21°, 3-1/4" collated framing nailer and a box of 4000 plastic collated galvanized nails for under $270. I played with it today and smiled like a little kid! Thanks guys! Will

I have purchased 3 2767-20 Fuel 1/2 inch impacts from Charles H Day for a crew of mechanics. This is not my first experience with this tool. Other mechanics over the years have had used these at our shop and they are extremely durable and reliable. One day my personal gun which is the least used failed to turn on with a fully charged battery when the trigger was pressed. The gun is about 18 months old and still well within the warranty window. When I dropped the gun off I was advised that the tool may not covered by warranty based on its appearance and it would be 2 months before they could check it out. I advised them that this tool has the least amount of use of all the ones we have and use and asked them to go ahead and see what was wrong. 2 months later they said it would be $200 to fix it and suggested I just buy a new one. I declined the repair and picked it up. Being a mechanic, to me it appeared that the tool had not been disassembled for inspection. To their credit there were no charges applied to the “estimate”. I brought the gun home, opened it up and found a wire disconnected. I re-soldered the wire and it works perfectly. I’m not impressed with the repair service to say the least.

Great prices... heads up it's a tool store not a hardware store... you won't find glue, nuts and bolts, etc. That said it IS an amazing tool store.

Great selection of power tools, and very helpful staff, though they could use a bit more selection of accessories for said power tools.
