I think folding bikes are criminally underrated, it's amazing that they're now available with electric assistance

I bought my Breezer here a year ago, and from the very moment I stepped into the store to browse, to my 30 day tune-up, through defective brakes (replaced & upgraded for free), a full wheel rebuild, and all the various woes of a crash, Aaron and the whole team at Clever Cycles have been so incredibly kind, knowledgeable and respectful, I can’t imagine taking my bike anywhere else again. This is a top notch establishment.

Beware buying direct from Yuba and the support received from Yuba directly. It appears to now be a French brand with support only on the east coast. They can only be contacted at a support email.
My wife bought one of these overpriced e-bikes direct from the manufacturer a month ago. It showed up partially assembled with a 3 minute video as instructions. A week into assembly she found a defectively manufactured frame prevented attaching the last (and very important) child features to the bike.
I followed up with Yuba’s support line during their limited hours, and they seemed helpful at first. They recommended us to Clever Cycles for assistance. Clever cycles understandably wants nothing to do with a bike they didn’t sell or assemble.
A week later Yuba can’t be bothered to respond to emails, and we are stuck with a partially assembled bike. Posting our experience here so others can know what to expect if this shop isn’t around to support what is purchased here.

Hard to say enough good about Clever Cycles—they were responsive and transparent at every stage in what turned out to be a rather drawn-out process to get us a Tern GSD Gen 3, and took pains to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted/needed. Absolutely the place to go if you need an electric cargo bike (or any other kind of bike, for that matter).

Bought an ebike here today. Did a test ride a couple weeks ago. I especially appreciated being helped by female staff. They were very responsive & problem-solved outside of the box with me. The follow thru was phenomenal. Awesome experience!

The staff here are so helpful and responsive, from the point of ordering to picking up a bike. When I was picking up the bike, the staff was very knowledgeable and helped me with the new bike. I would buy from them again!

I have made more of my trips by bike since purchasing my Tern Quick Haul from Clever Cycles. Commute, grocery store, gym, farmers market, errands, fun rides with family. They let us try out enough bikes to really get a sense of what we wanted and had great answers to our many questions. Buying a quality e-bike from a shop like Clever Cycles is the way to go! Look forward to continuing the relationship.

For me, Clever Cycles is the first place to look when I consider getting a new bike. I really appreciate the brands they choose to carry, really solid names for practical urban cycling, plus some novel, interesting choices. They carry really good e-bikes as well.I have always received good service here dealing with a wide range of staff. I received patient, comprehensive answers to my e-bike questions and never felt any pressure to purchase. I have taken some great test rides at this store on really nice bikes and e-bikes.So I readily travel from Hillsboro to SE Hawthorne to visit Clever Cycles - highly recommended!
