Best coffee roasters in PDX. Hands down. Their beans are unparalleled, and the other day I had probably the best cortado of my entire life. I subscribe to their coffee subscription and get 4 bags a month. The discount from the subscription is very solid. The beans are stellar quality. Any time I have a question about my order or want to change it, their team is super quick to respond and are always extremely professional and nice. 10/10 best coffee company in town!

Had Chai tea. Lots of seating available. Great place to come with a laptop or book.

There are very few great coffee shops in Portland that serve excellent coffee - most are lattes and speciality drinks. I had an americano and my wife a honey latte. Coava has great coffee, atmosphere and branding. Well done ?

Coffee is fantastic. We generally like our coffee mild with the roasting being secondary to the bean itself. A Coava cup is consistently well made and the beans perfectly roasted. You don't need to add sugar or other items to get a smooth tasty cup.

The coffee was excellent and we enjoyed the friendly and cozy atmosphere. The baristas were great too and took their time to tell us about each of their coffee beans so we could make an informed selection. The coffee beans have a little card about the producer inside, which is a nice, special touch. You also get a free drip coffee with purchase of beans which is a great bonus :)

What's up: We've had Stumptown before, so we wanted to try out a different place and see how their drinks were. Coava was a place that showed up frequently on my searches, so we added that to our list. Parking: Street parking. Environment: They have indoor and outdoor seating available. The order counter is located to the right upon entry and restrooms are to the left of the order counter. The menu is displayed on the wall behind the order counter. Whole beans and swag is also available for purchase. What was ordered:- Americano (good)- Matcha (light flavor)- Latte (good)Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The staff member was friendly and the place was busy but quiet. Overall, the drinks were decent. Credit cards are accepted.

I'm a daily regular here. It has the absolute best coffee in Portland! They roast their own beans, and the baristas are all great people and very friendly.

Cool coffee shop: yummy coffee (breve) and baked goods (handmade Marionberry pop tart from a local bakery). Staff are very friendly, professional and attentive. Large space and good for knitting and socializing. Definitely want to return with my family and friends.

Excellent coffee and great atmosphere! Some of the best expresso I've had. It's a no frills place that just does everything the right way. Perfect place for coffee snobs and newbies. Will become my new regular spot on Hawthorne.

Minimal approach to coffee that was much appreciated. There were no seasonal flavors and that usually means the coffee can stand on its own- and it really did. The latte with their own vanilla syrup and local honey was *perfection*. While the space leaves something to be desired, not a lot of places to sit, so don't expect to come in and drink your coffee all comfortable like. All that said- this was definitely one of the best lattes I'd had in Portland.
