I work as a case manager and this place is an exceptional community resource. They take donations of furniture and household items that serve those in need. The staff seem to enjoy working there and they have committed volunteers. I enjoyed going through and helping one of our programs participants pick out what she needed for her home. She got most of the major furniture she needed, except for matresses, which they were low on. Thanks Community Warehouse!

They gave me furniture with bird feces all over it and one item was broken. When I told them and submitted photos they refused to take it back. Someone had got the top part of the shelf with the bird feces on it and replaced it with the second shelf so you couldn’t see it. They also charge a fee for poor furniture options. Never again with this place. I could’ve bought everything I got here brand new for the same price they charged. The manager has also not been helpful at all and has been purposefully ignoring my voicemails and emails regarding my complaint. I have been professional and not aggressive at all in resolving this issue. Very unprofessional people. This place is more of a burden than anything else.

About a week ago, I helped a neighbor take in a really nice table and chair set, to the **new Gresham** location and it couldn't' gone any smoother. It was actually quite enjoyable! We were greeted and assisted by a wonderful staff member whose initials are AJ (indicated on the receipt). He complimented the set and got right to work helping us onload it. He completely answered our questions about the new location and other items that they are looking for, to help people who are rebuilding their homes and their lives. He was truly passionate about his role, and it showed. As a Portland native, I have donated several items over the years to Goodwill, ARC, Habitat for Humanity, and to Our House/the Cascade Aids Project. There have been a few hiccups with the first three, declining items once I arrived; ARC telling me their website was wrong and they really don't accept camping gear, Habitat for Humanity declining an armoire because one of the doors needed work on a hinge, Goodwill declining a perfectly good futon because the painted frame made a faint gray stripe. I'm actually looking forward to going back with more items. Please check them out!

Got some pretty decent stuff there.... And the delivery team were top notch. They even helped set up some of the bigger items. IF you have decent newer / used clean and and bug free donations please consider donating to them.

I scheduled a pick up and paid $80 to donate things that are acceptable.Online it states:Any and all items accepted! All eligible items are donated while remaining items are ethically disposed of.They only took the love seat and not the couch, refused tables and clothes. I'm on a time crunch and this company really let us down! They barely took anything and was only here for 20 mins to collect $80. Disappointed is an understatement.

People give you things, they don't let you choose, you can't grab them with your hands from afar, you have to tell them which one you want, they think they own the things. They are donations that people give us to help us in that place.
