I’ve been to this downtown location and Tanasbourne. I can’t play games with Danner anymore. They never have the shoes I’m looking for in stock and their online stock shows incorrect data for the locations. Keeping good inventory in a POS system is not that difficult. Please do better.

Stopped in for some help with replacing my 20 year old Danner boots (after visiting the factory store where the staff couldn’t be bothered with customer service).Paul and Todd at the Union Way store were fantastic. They answered all my questions, took genuine interest in making sure I got a proper fit, and went out of their way to get my new boots to me when my size wasn’t in stock (they even offered me some delicious snacks?).Danner is lucky to have guys like this representing the brand. The boots are good of course, but salespeople who take customer satisfaction personally are rare indeed.

Had a great experience shopping here today. Otta (hopefully I’m spelling that correctly) was wonderful and patiently answered my naive questions. Ended up with a much nicer pair of boots than anything I’ve owned before at 50% off. I have not been to the outlet but will definitely be back and recommend to other. Thanks Otta!

Cool store with great selection of Danner boots and shoes! The store manager was extremely helpful and pleasant to chat with. I highly recommend this store and Danner boots for all of your outdoor needs!

Not that I really need another pair of boots but I just couldn’t resist buying a pair of Crater Rims, customer returns, at half price. Just lucky that was the boots I was after and of the few pairs on their sale shelf were exactly my size. If you’ve been to the outlet store close to the airport you might think that visiting this shop isn’t worth it but it is. Although smaller it stocks quite a few things not available in the bigger outlet. Big thanks to both members of staff in the store especially Paul from my home country (the friendly nation on the other side of the pond!). By the way I have a pair of USA made Danner boots still going strong after 23 years of wear.

I just got a pair of boots from Todd. I'm a wildland firefighter, I spent an hour in there try to decide which fit was the best for me and Todd helped me out the whole way. I would highly recommend going to the store

My husband was in need of new work boots. We found a pair of Danners that were on sale so we bought a pair to make sure they would work. They arrived within 2 days and were awesome so I called the next day to order 2 more pairs. They refused to honor the sale price and tried to charge me $100.00 more for each pair. I explained that we only ordered one pair to make sure they fit and were comfortable, as we didn't want to have to return three pairs in case they didn't work out. They absolutely refused to honor the sale price. Not the best customer service experience. Will not buy from them again for this reason.

The best place to get boots & shoes that will conquer Oregon weather. The staff is a great group of knowledgeable and friendly people. Love my Danners.

Worth a stop for sure. I was going to buy online but was in the neighborhood and stopped in. It was well worth the trip.They gave me great recommendations and helped me find the perfect fit (I would ordered the wrong size for sure). Very pleased with the work boots I ended up with and I’ll be back for my next pair of hiking boots!

Quality and craftsmanship.If you appreciate those two words, you'll appreciate what Danner provides.I've been there a number of times and, to me, they're the quintessential PNW brand. From gloves, boots, a wallet, and a number of pair of clothes I've bought there just this past year,it all comes down to the quality and construction of each and every piece.Sure, they're not cheap. But for this kind of quality and construction, it shouldn't be.

Great store! Intimate environment, plenty of variety of products, and unbelievable staff creating a warm and inviting space for customers to ask questions and inquire into product and standards of the company. Todd was awesome! Thank you all again.

Just managed to stop myself at the $200 mark no pun intended. For the last 7 years this is my boot brand of choice. Danner 600 mountain have been my everyday wear for 7 years. They are the forever boot and covered by our local Portlandia factory for life. I have never had but one issue in all my 7 boot pairs not to mention all my USA made socks and boots Danner produces. So the PUN is I delt with an awesome employee named Mark. I had never bought from a Danner store as lockdown Covid1984 block our freedom of movements for you tell me the martial law plan 2.0 I learned history of the boot saw examples from the 1960s and enjoyed buying tea shirts socks and cups as I am a fan boy of all thing American Worker. Let's go America! Wake up smell the Coffee and support what you love and enjoy your life however you want while freedom is available. Mark was also cool enough to throw in this cool Motorcycle Eric Banna Motor Cycle bandana besides his great conversations.

This store is nicely laid out and the sales professionals are fantastic. Mark helped me find the right work boots in a pinch close to the closing hours. I am a landscape foreman for a local company. My work boots (different brand) blew out on me at the end of the work day. Mark helped me get set up with the right boot to get to work the next day. Super satisfied.

Stopped in at this downtown location on the search for some rather specific details for some work boots. I also have small feet so finding work boots is a challenge everywhere. Although this location did not have a pair of boots for me to try on, the associate helped me find something that fit my needs in their catalog and located another Danner store that carried the shoe and sizes I needed and wrote them all down for me! Really appreciated the help in navigated their products. Thank you!
