What a great store with most anything a person might need. I love the local neighborhood feeling they have and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have never walked out of this store disappointed.

this is literally a magic gem of a hardware store, something out of a fantasy past… evertime I go in with a project I get a dedicated attendant to assist with every stage, even help with the project… Ed especially went above and beyond and repaired an equipment stand that required attention to detail, keen knowledge of stock, and skills to execute, meanwhile the focus and enthusiasm was through the roof and the vibes excellent. I would still be trying to find someone to help me at a big box, meanwhile it was 6$ parts and labor, transformed a broken/unusable thrown out, yet expensive item to “upcycled, custom mod upgrade- better than new” (Ed deserves a raise! thnx Ed!! you rule!). SHOP HERE! best Hardware store in PDX, and Trade Up Music recommended them to me since they were all music gear projects… gotta give them some shine too! best music shop ever!

Knowledgeable and incredibly helpful employees, which goes a long way if you’re DIYing on your fixer house. This store packs a punch. They have everything you need and nothing you don’t. The only time I go to the big box stores now is if I want power tools or to have a bad day.. love my local hardware store!

Kinda expensive and closed Sunday, otherwise customer service is friendly and there’s a good selection to tools and parts.

I really appreciate that there's always an employee available to ask questions, and different people have their specialities. I've gotten good advice from them and they are happy to help brainstorming. There's no phone connectivity inside, so do your research first! They have a surprisingly large selection for being on the smaller side.

Amazing staff and awesome customer service every time i come in!!! I came in today and a nice man in the back was able to get a broken key out of a lock for me and that was awesome! I would reccomend this place to anybody! Also another staff member was very knowledgeable when i was trying to find out what kind of gloves are good enough to handle the thorns. ? ?

This store always has what I need, even obscure fasteners, and they know where everything is. I have found Paul staff assistant, and Kathy, the owner, especially knowledgeable and helpful.

God this is embarrassing to write but I’m treating google like a diary at this point. I’ve been to this hardware store so many times, and I thought it was great but recently the employees are shadowing me in weird ways and talking to me like I’m suspicious. I hate it. This country sucks. I just want to buy project supplies in my neighborhood without suddenly feeling like it’s a dystopian nightmare.
