Pretty good selection for being a dollar tree in Portland.

Staff is friendly but, there are so many homeless people to navigate. Several shoplifters just grab and go.

Just went in to grab a quick energy drink 20 minutes before closing time. Overheard the manager, Darlene, being incredible rude to an obviously homeless woman trying to get a couple boxes in a basket. She continued to parade around the store loudly saying they are closing in 5 minutes, 8 minute etc all fifteen plus minutes before the stated closing time. She was unprofessional, passive-aggressive, and rude. Not to mention the horrid state of the store. An entire aisle blocked off with U-Boats that hadn’t been stocked, little to no selection in some aisles. Worst Dollar Tree I’ve been to, and I’ve worked at another location to know how it is supposed to look.

I was in this store 2 weeks ago, it smelled like urine and the store was filthy. The shelves were empty, the freezers were empty, and had 1 cashier with 12 people in line. The Manager was standing up front by the office talking to another person. She could see the long line and ignored it. I was a Dollar tree Store Manager for 6 years in Washington and couldn’t believe how terrible the store looked, smelled and empty. It looked like recovery hadn’t been done in a long time. There were carts full of go backs sitting next to the office. I visit Portland at least once amount because my daughter lives near this store, and I will never shop there again.

It's so sad to see the theft taking place while stopping for a couple of items for an activity.

What a dump. The whole shopping center it's in is a dump too. Empty shelves, very small, nothing that special. Someone said it has stuff Vancouver locations don't have and the only thing it has Vancouver don't is the feeling of despair.

This DT is in a challenging area but they do what they can to keep it presentable. This one is the only one on the north side that many retired and disabled people have access to.We are glad for it.

I needed to grab something from the store real quick but one of the clerks wouldn’t let me in because they “were closed” even though I got there before (they were supposed to be closed) 7pm. The kicker was that they still had people walking around inside shopping. I get that they want to clock out and leave but to keep people out before actual closing hours is unprofessional. If I had got there after 7 yeah on me for being there late but I was there on time. It was a short short brunette with green hoodie that kept people from coming in the store.

They do have great deals most of the time. Their was a guy there that must have got a great deal on tinfoil because he was smoking his drugs on it right there in the tinfoil isle. Such a convenience.

Too many empty shelves and they charge 5.00 for food that other dollar trees charge 1.25 for. Other dollar trees are farther away but worth the mileage to get to a "decent" store.

For a few months, they have not had new shipments of cell-phone cables.

Nice store, clean. Shelves were stocked pretty well. They were little under-staffed, someone called in, but the fella working did such a good job getting through the line, that continued to form even after I left. He was chatty & polite, friendly. I shop here often & will continue to!
