I worked with the Ellumiglow team on a sign project for my commercial building in Salem, OR.Justin helped me put together the design (there were multiple!), ordered all the parts, and helped guide the installation process. We had just acquired the building and this was a crucial step in our renovation process.Justin was there every step of the way. He was able to take my vision and make it a reality. My experience buying from Ellumiglow has been perfectly fine, and they are quite responsive to emails and questions, but the item I bought from them, a dedicated electroluminescent panel for astrophotography, is so flimsily manufactured that before very long the all-important wire that supplies power to the light came loose, and no attempt to repair it succeeded. I have replaced it (buying two, in fact, so that I have a spare), but I would recommend they consider making the connection a bit more robust.

I bought the 5" EL Panel kit and it worked really well...once. Second time I learned (in the dark) that the connector wiring had failed. I contacted Ellumiglow and they replaced the panel immediately. Outstanding customer service.

It's simply doesn't get bright enough. And the adjustment dial is too small to make minor adjustments. I never can use this for narrow band flats unless I make them a long exposure. Unless they've improved their product, I do not recommend it. Get yourself a Wanderer Astro flat panel or stay with a tracing pad

I ordered the Astrophotography EL Panel about 6 months ago to use in making flat calibration frames for astrophotography. I have the ZWO ASI 294MM Pro and ASI 294MC Pro cameras which have a known requirement for a very even light source to create flat calibration frames. My early attempts with a white screen Android tablet were not satisfactory, however the EL Panel kit works very well for both these camera and the flats produced with this kit calibrated my light frames quite well. Highly recommend if you need a nice even light source for creating flat frames. The accessory flashlight/USB power source is also very handy and I often grab it when I need a small light source.

I ordered a panel, never received it. The company is impossible to contact. No reply to multiple emails or phone calls. I do not recommend doing business with them. The CC hasn't been charged yet but I will be ready to dispute the charge if it ever shows up in my statement.

Impossible to solder. Wire doesn't separate like shown in tutorial video. My questions have been ignored for over a week. Wire diameter too large, but no description was given on website. Custom wiring options on site confusing and not ideal.

Order a light kit and never received it. Emailed them multiple times and no response. Make sure you charge back with your credit card!Check AliExpress you can get the same stuff for a fraction of the cost, just shipping will take two weeks.

I thought this was going to be an amazing transaction and it started wonderfully until I was sent faulty product, with NO UV COATING and burnt blotches which I paid A LOT for. This product did not last thru first fire up without damage being exposed and drastically changed colors and faded significantly after only a couple weeks...... After understanding what happened they agreed to redo the project and send me out the product corrected. Mind you in order to use this with the cost of wraps and labor this has costed me over $24k in just wraps not including the product cost.... I had remained calm and tried to be respectful in contacting them to get an update but have not been successful in getting a reply... They have ignored texts, voicemails, emails, calls, social media dm's etc.... At this point I am looking to get an attorney regarding this matter....Given I have written exchanges agreeing to make it right....At this point I just want a refund as this has been a headache I do NOT need........No product replacement has been issued to date....
