My experience with enterprise was wonderful. Justin was great and quick at pick up in Portland and Isaac was wonderful at drop off in San Francisco. Thank you both!

I love the Enterprise team at this location.I go out of my way to rent from them. The small attention to detail makes it an easy customer experience. They greet you immediately when you show up, hold the door open for you and get you on the road as fast as possible. In a world where customer service is lacking, this team is a shining example of how to make the customer feel welcome and appreciated.A+ effort all around <3

This enterprise had the best customer service. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Everyone said hello and asked if I'd been helped. Shout out to Stefan, Shora, Bryan, and Trent!!

Trenton was beyond helpful, I really appreciated the great customer service. He got me a car last minute and made the entire experience easy and pleasant. 12/10!

Shora & Stefan were wonderful! They were short staffed, car returns were off track therefore limited availability for outgoing vehicles, and these two worked quickly and efficiently to take care of the 3 parties that arrived at once, myself included. I would recommend this location to anyone & will return with any of my own rental needs!

Made this reservation a week ago while my car was scheduled to be repaired at Fix Auto (best repair shop in town). Spoke to 2 separate people to confirm rental in the last week. When I arrived, they informed me they could not rent to me as I was on a “do not rent” list. This of course is incorrect and they called to verify.I will not be renting or recommending Enterprise because this is something I should have been informed about prior to arriving so I could get things figured out. They did not seem to believe me when I told them this was an error and as I was leaving to be dropped off at Fix auto they came out to tell me it had been resolved.A very nice lady from Enterprise dropped me off at my car, but again… this should have been brought up when I gave them all my info twice last week.

First off, thank you Trent and Shora and sorry this review is coming two months late! This location (611 E Burnside Portland, OR) provided the best customer service I’ve had in a very long time! My car was vandalized, and in the shop. Trent helped me find a temporary ride (Toyota Tacoma) and worked with me in extending the rental period, since my car was going to take longer than anticipated. Both Trent and Shora were kind enough to listen to my rant about the vandalism and current life situation. I apologize if I over shared but please know you were greatly appreciated. I returned the truck a day early with no problems from enterprise as well. I was going to walk to pick up my car but Trent offered a complimentary ride and asked Shora to take me to my destination. She gladly agreed and we had an amazing conversation during the ride. I’m so thankful for people like Trent and Shora. While it may have seemed like a simple rental transaction, it meant a lot to me that they went above and beyond for a mere stranger. Please take good care of these employees. I hope I don’t have to rent another car due to vandalism but at the same time, I would be pleased to work with Trent and Shora.Would I recommend? ?

I have used this location a few times, and the first couple times had pleasant experiences. However, this was the last time. Beware of the customer service as they will charge you invalid fees. I contacted customer service to let them know I was going to be about 5 minutes late returning my rental because I had to refuel and was stuck in traffic. They said it was okay and that I would not be charged as a courtesy. That message apparently was not relayed to whoever did my checkout as I was charged for another hour.It took me about 10 minutes to actually get fuel in the vehicle and two times of filling it with gas as the gas gauge on the car did not move for minutes upon putting gas in it. When I get back to the small branch, I Waited for the sole customer service agent to help 2 other customers, and was finally told I can just leave my keys and will be emailed a receipt. I wish I had stayed so that I could have disputed this fee.In addition, the rentals they give are never full with gas. My first one was completely empty with the fuel light on which they apologized about, and the second one was “between 1/2 full and 3/4th full with gas” according to their assistant manager Trent “so just be sure you return it half full” , but I was charged $18 for refueling it even though it was halfway full. This resulted in my $116 rental turning into a $168 one day rental, so from now on I will gladly use Hertz down the street for my weekly rental where I have never been charged extra fees.

Jaw dropping unbelievable experiences with staff and regional manager. My car was still being fixed and my full coverage insurance hadn't paid the bill yet for this second rental in this very common situation as I was still renting the vehicle(s). They had my credit card on file and hold on-- I-had-full-coverage-insurance that enterprise was in conversation with, and the mechanic had some sort of contract with Enterprise as well because that is who ultimately sent me there this second time. All conversations were documented on insurance and mechanics side as well as mine, yet Enterprise still couldn't get it together with appropriate information. This was during a time when shipments and parts were on hold as was most of the world, so my car was in the shop for a while. Rental cars were almost always available, but you would never ever get the same information from anyone at each rental place if you had questions about rentals available. Enterprise could not get it together for that insurance company, me or the maintenance place that apologized to me for the behavior Enterprise staff was showing. This company used Enterprise daily. After this situation he exclaimed to me that he would not be sending any of his customers to Enterprise on Burnside in NE Portland if he could help it and offered to get me a rental at another company. I opted for a long walk home in the rain and a weekend rental car hassle free until my car was completed.None of this should have happened to me or those involved in this. Enterprise had many many problems with paperwork, lack of accountability, and their inability to utilize the information they had been given in several different forms in order to adhere to their control issues. Therefore, leaving me with all of their issues. That doesn't seem right still to this day. Emotional damage! :) Truly though...A manager from the company that was fixing my car witnessed this mess as the man at enterprise began to scream and tell us to leave. He was still screaming as I waited outside. This man behind the counter wanted control. It seemed to run rampant throughout this particular company however because I rented about three or four vehicles in this span of time that my car was being fixed and each place had some strange things going on. Not a single vehicle from two of four places I rented from actually got cleaned after my use and obviously others use before me. Not too big of a deal except for the fees and deposits and contracts you sign.Twice, I parked a car, walked in, handed over keys, waited and watched as the car which had not yet been checked being rented by someone already in the process of paperwork almost immediately drive away in said car. Once in NE Portland and then in Tigard. When they did this to me in Tigard, I was witnessing this already from my previous experiences with Enterprise in those couple of months and had some sort of awareness- with underlying confusion still as I'm not completely up to par on the workings of Enterprise. Their patterns became obvious.I had to ask before and after paperwork if he would be using his check off list that they typically had- he got nervous stumbled his words tried to again not take accountability with an excuse, but the words couldn't come out, so he turned around went inside and got the paperwork or whatever it is they check your car in or out with. I waited for about 15 or 20 minutes (not an over exaggeration) as he talked with two others behind the counter before he came out and helped another person and then came to help me. In total I waited about an hour in that moment. I almost left without a car or a conversation because no one was talking to me or helping me at this point. The world had stopped seemingly, and humans were taking full advantage of others it felt. I just did not want to cause a scene or deal with what they were giving me, and I needed a car to get back home and work and etc..... So, I waited patiently and said no more than what I had to.Know your rights, your contract and then buckle up for a bun

The Enterprise manager gave us a partial refund when we returned our rental since the car they loaned us only had 1/4 tank of gas and no windshield wiper fluid at the time of pickup. Also, when we called the local office the morning the rental began, the call flipped over toafax line every time an employee tried to answer.

We recently had the pleasure of renting a Rivian from Shora Shahryar at the Burnside location. Amidst the stress of our own car being in a body shop and navigating the complexities of the other party’s insurance, Shora, alongside Christian from Exotic rental, ensured that the car rental process was smooth and hassle-free. Shora was not only professional and efficient but also genuinely pleasant to converse with. Their combined efforts truly lightened our load during a tough time. Highly recommend!

The service was very good, but the rental was old and dirty. It had a bad odor, like it hasn't been sanitized in quite some time.

Bringing the family to Portland on vacation, the first thing after plane tickets and a place to stay was the rental car reservation. Decided to rent in town for only part of the trip instead of at the airport for the entire time. Woke up and got ready to get to the enterprise location by 9 am when the phone rang (at 8:30 am)--they would like to know if we still need that car? Because they have no cars at any location in the entire city! I was the seventh person he called since all of us had mistakenly thought a reservation meant they would reserve a car. Nope. So I will never go on vacation expecting a car reservation means anything. Time to start using Turo. Instead we had to spend over $100 on Uber to keep our plans.

I rented a car recently at BWI airport and did my checkin online ahead of time to avoid a long wait. Everything went fine until I tried to exit the airport with the rental car. I was told there was a problem because of my return location. I was left at the gate for a long time waiting for someone to fix the problem on their end. Eventually Enterprise got it together and fixed the problem. I was assured that I would receive a 25% discount off of my bill. That has not happened and I have placed several messages to the administrative offices. I was assured that someone would call me back. Its been 2 weeks and not a word.

Enterprise Car Rental is always a pleasant to rent cars with. Every one os so helpful and they make sure that you are happy with your chosen rental car. One time, the car was dirty so they waived my upgrade fee. I highly recommend renting cars from them.
