Robin and Jeffrey were the reason for me not wanting to leave...both are amazing and so extremely helpful and actually care about our needs as customers. As for the unit I rented a 5x5 and was there for well over a year and never had a problem. The reason I left was because the price jump pretty drastically when it does....but remember people this is not Jeff or Robin's fault this is corporate greed and that is the reason I went to new horizons. If you talk to them you might get help if they are able

Service was prompt friendly and helpful very polite and respectful gave all the rules and clear expectations. Location is very clean glad I chose this location. Walk through was great even helped me set up app on my phone. Thanks for taking the stress off me and getting me taken care of one phone call and one visit all in one day. I will recommend them to anyone that's looking for storage rental.

This place is clean and secure. It is a little annoying to have to put in your code to drive through the gate, again to call the elevator, and a third time to send the elevator to your floor but I appreciate the added security. Office staff is super friendly and helpful the few times I've gotten to work with them but after initially renting the unit everything was self sufficient so my only contact was to report a malfunctioning light in the hallway outside my unit which they fixed. A little expensive after the promo period ended but not excessive. I'm only moving out because I got a house with a garage and no longer need separate storage.

Of all the nearby storage options, Extra Space Storage seems to be the best run, cleanest, and most secure. For that reason I think they would be the best option for anyone looking for a storage unit in NE Portland.
My one complaint is that they don't let you prepay more than six-months and your rate may fluctuate based on the supply and demand of similar units in the space. This seems to be the business model for all the companies in the area, so I don't hold it against Extra Space Storage, but, personally, it's an incredibly annoying pricing structure.
