Great experience with renting a storage unit near my home in NW Portland. Estelle was very helpful and showed me a similar unit. The rental agreement process was quick & easy (all digital) and I was done in less than 15 minutes!

All staff have been friendly (though they can't do anything about the constant huge rate increases). Especially appreciate the new staff at NW location. There had been a cart shortage, and they figured out how to fix it.

This facility has the worst customer service I have experienced at any storage unit in any state or city. The late fees love to change up on you, especially when you have had your unit for awhile. Instead of valuing customer loyalty, they are unforgiving, uncaring & gas light you. They do not accept partial payments over the phone so if you have separate payment options, and live out of town, you are screwed. God forbid, you are late, and going through financial hardship. They will gaslight you because they truly do not care. Squeeze you for even more, actually, and quicker to schedule that auction than to help the long term customer. Security Public Storage is a much better option for customer service. It's pretty funny how other Extra Space Storages take partial payments over the phone, and can waive late fees, one time, but this one wants to squeeze you for every cost! So SHOCKED the storage industry is like this.. NOT.

New front desk lady is super helpful and sweet, but they raise the prices on units without any really warning or notification every couple months, so beware!

Estell is the best, she handled our recent move out. Hands down the easiest & most efficient set up & move out.
The facility is always clean and well maintained. They have hand carts available for use 24/7 and security is top notch. I would still be using their storage units if I hadn't just moved out of town.

The site manager was great!! Had one of the best and easiest experiences with this store. Everything was clean and an overall pleasant experience. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage for all of your storage needs!!

My partner and I rented a unit here for 8 months and had a very good experience. The customer service team was always easy to reach, responsive, and kind. They do a good job keeping this place safe and secure. The only downside is it is pricy.

I am a current resident at your Pearl District location. Just wanted to highlight an individual that l have been very impressed with ,"Exavier", the property manager. I don' t usually even take the time to fill out reviews these days, due to the work ethic of most employees, having had my own service oriented business with employees, my expectations are high. I do hope that you know that yoy have one of those employees with an excellent work ethic, with detail to his maintenance of the site and exceptional customer relations. What ever this employee is paid, it is'nt enough ! I can tell you that he is nothing but an asset to your company.
