Best pharmacy I’ve ever had!

I was a frequent customer. But recently their service started to be far below the standard a small business should be at. Rude staff. And the prices for the medications I take have been raised considerably. But not consistently. One month it may be what my co-pay is. And the next month it’s 13x what my co-pay should be. I will not support this type of small business that have practices like this.

Avoid if at all possible. The service is not customer based. And the prices for medications are not consistent from month to month. I was a customer for years. I have given this business the benefit of a second chance. They did not disappoint. Still horrible service and prices. So we once again take our business elsewhere. Good luck to those who choose inconsistencies and horrible customer service.

Fairley's Pharmacy is absolutely the best pharmacy in the Portland-Metro area.Pharmacists and staff strive to exceed our expectations. We are more than just a name and rx #.They provide accurate and timely prescription medication services. Vaccination, such as Covid, are available on a walk in basis. My family and I rely on them to meet my numerous medical and medication needs. We've been dedicated customers for over two decades.Thank you Fairley's Pharmacy!

And so it begin, the demise of Fairley's. I'm glad they lasted this long, and saddened that the quality of service and friendliness, what we've come to expect, is ending. After it was sold, I noticed a certain undefinable tension in the staff. They were less attentive and more terse when I asked for some help with my prescription refills, almost like silently saying, "just get to the f'ing point already". I felt uncomfortable, NEVER before at Fairley's during the 12 years I've been getting my medications there. A few days ago, the person who answered the phone was literally rude, argumentative despite nothing even 'on the table' to argue about. I politely said I was sorry that something came up and I would phone back, and I disconnected. A bit of this and that, things familiar there are changing, like the phone system. Things which favor 'them' are being streamlined and no longer helpful to the customer. I went there years ago to avoid this. Now I am looking again. If I have to have rude, I may as well go back to the big stores if I can't find a smaller and friendlier pharmacy.

Fairleys is amazing. I love the staff here, they're so polite and helpful..so grateful that they exist and can support providing unique medications I can't access anywhere else.

I really like this pharmacy and it's very convenient. But they lose two stars for having a phone system that is incredibly unreliable. A couple weeks ago I called and it wouldn't even pick up. Tried to call several times that day and when I finally got through they said yeah we are having some problems with the phone system. Today I called and it said something about an automated attendant and I could press 0 to get to an operator. When I pressed zero it said that that selection was not valid. So I called back three times and tried to get through to somebody and was unsuccessful. On top of that they have a refill website that they use but when I try to create an account it always fails. I tried it twice with two weeks in between. When I talked to the pharmacists about it they said that they were working on fixing that. It's a good pharmacy and they are very friendly but their tech issues make it frustrating to work with them.

Oh my god this place, I’ve only been there once, and I’m in love ❤️! Well I waited, I got an iced latte, that was quite good, and as a trans person, I felt safe, which after two very terrible experiences one at a CVS on Southwest fourth and Harrison, and the other that ended in the street, with a pharmacist sicking the police on me for simply asking to have my Preferred name updated in the system, at 10th Northwest Hoyt, Fairley’s was a breath of fresh air! Everyone there was so sweet and kind! I mean really, they made me feel like The friendly neighborhood soda shop Phamacy that they are. I couldn’t be more pleased, and I don’t even mind that I have to drive across town to get there. It’s not that far. And if I had to take the bus, I’d be fine with that. It’s worth it to feel safe. Thank you Fairley’s!

Sad. Overcharged. My husband and our insurance company are both appalled and disappointed. Not the same business post pandemic.**In response to the reply from the owner – On more than one occasion my husband tried to work with pharmacy staff concerning the prices he was being charged. Also, a representative from the insurance company had also tried to sort this out. A resolution was NOT reached with your establishment. We have since taken our business to another pharmacy better equipped. Thank you for your reply though. No one wants negative reviews. But sometimes they happen. I hope this review can be used as an opportunity for improvement.

Great pharmacy and quick responses to concerns when they arise. Prices are reasonable for compounded medications.

I have a super rare blood cancer which, if we’re being honest, is already kind of a bummer, so I don’t need any additional stress. There’s a (formerly local) pharmacy less than a mile from my house but with one of my meds EVERY refill was becoming a battle. At one point I left the counter in tears and called my doctor who recommended we try Fairley’s. It’s been several months and the difference between local and big chain is NOT negligible. The loop between my house and Fairley’s is 15 miles and I’m FINE with the distance.Pride of ownership: helpful professional pharmacists, kind efficient staff. My questions always get answered, everything’s timely and above board. Today they switched my generic,TOLD ME it was a different brand, and offered assistance if necessary. If that seems like it should be the norm it’s not, and to someone like me it means a lot because my system is weirdly vulnerable right now.It also feels important to mention that sometimes I’m too sick to drive so my husband will have to pick up my RXs and everyone at Fairley’s is always nice to him. That, too, makes a huge difference in our present situation.
