Great seafood just a little skimpy. Why don't you put a side with your fish tacos. The oysters were delicious three different kinds but very small. Mini petite s. I'm a big oyster fan. Top price for small portions....great wait Staff?

Very poor price transparency. Went to buy a piece of salmon to take home and cook for dinner. Price when rang up didn’t match the advertised sticker price on the fish’s packaging. When I asked why, I was told a % charge was tacked on for the employee’s healthcare??? I’m not sure why customers are being charged for the workers healthcare I was under the impression that it was an employers job to provide healthcare for their workers not customer. The icing on the top is the employee flipped a screen around asking for a 25% tip on a raw seafood purchase? To be clear I wasn’t ordering food from their restaurant but buying fish from their seafood market. Since when do you tip at grocery stores? Over all felt like I was being nickel and dimed, while the owner virtue signals about employee healthcare. Not sure why he isn’t being a stand up employer and provided healthcare for his employees out of company profits instead of passing the bill onto his customers in the form of erroneous charges. Just increase your prices and stop trying to virtue signal.

Everything was good. Tartar sauce was not gf. But had gf fried fish and chips (sweet potato) and gf clam chowder with cole slaw. Loved the atmosphere, under a heated awning. Worth the visit when in Portland downtown area.

Wait, your Caeser salad is $17!? And that doesn't include fish or chicken?! I really hope people aren't paying that for a salad

Fish and chips were a bit burnt... it's also usually a wait because there's just a couple tables on a blacktop covered patio (which personally I'm fine with but could be a bit lacking in ambiance for some). I think I'll pass on a full meal here next time but would come back for oysters and a drink. The market was almost sold out of fresh shellfish before dinnertime on a weekend- so come early if you're looking to buy some oysters for home.

Great fresh seafood and harder to find items for home cooks. Excellent quality and many things locally sourced. Get your bagel fixins including white fish salad plus fresh oysters and even ikura and salmon

This unassuming spot on East Burnside has great outdoor seating, amazing staff and some of the most delicious seafood in Portland! From Oysters to fish tacos to salmon patties, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My kids love the fish and chips and I highly recommend grabbing some locally sourced oysters and following that up with a salmon crudo (when available) and don't leave without a few orders of Jojos!

Popped in to pick up clams for dinner and got oysters and a glass of bubbly. Great quality food, but not a sit-down sexy restaurant vibe! If you don’t mind standing while you eat check it out :)

We visited the Portland Market....and the FLYING FISH had awesome little samples of the Wild Caught Smoked Salmon....it dances on your tastebuds and is tender and flavor packed.. unlike some of the brands that are almost like plastic!!Sooo....I went to the restaurant and had a great fish and chips...one tiny suggestion...the boiled egg in the tarter sauce...maybe have an option without the egg in the tarter sauce...? The fish is so moist...we had an option for the kale salad instead of the fries and that was wonderful!!I typically avoid kale ...however this kale slaw was yummy!!I was so impressed with the fish ...!!

I want to try the poke next time! ?Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options.Parking: Crowded, narrow streets. Best to park further away and be prepared to walk.
