Brought in my $40 Casio watch to get the battery replaced. Was told, “If it has screws on the back like that, we can’t do them”. These are BASIC screws, typical of any watch backing. When I asked why, I was told, “Because if we lose the screws, we can’t replace them”. If you lose the screws??? What kind of place is this? Don’t you have a work station in the back for that?They watched me do it myself on the glass case with a screwdriver I bought for $3.99 at the cash wrap. “Tell me why I’m more qualified to do this than you?” I asked. “Company policy”, I was told, “we can’t risk losing the screws”.Lol, get outta here with this complete lack of service. What is happening, lol?!

I don't know why I am suprised. I don't know what it is about my mind that I never expect it. When I walk into a pharmacy where presumably the employees have at least a smidgen of education wearing a progress flag mask purchased at the very store the pharmacy is in with my wild pink hair bouncing about my head I reasonably should be able to expect I won't be consistantly and deliberately misgendered. This place though? Every damn time. On the plus side there is a grocery store closer to me and theres nothing I need foodwise that is exclusive to fred meyer so I don't really have to shop at this bigot barn. Finding a new pharmacy is going to be a bother but oh well. Better than dealing with the willfully ignorant. Really though don't pharmacy techs have science courses when they get certified? Whatever. I know things are a lot worse in most of the country but all my trans siblings need to know Portland is not actually trans friendly except a little bit every June.

This Freddie's has gone downhill for a while but I'm done. I get that shoplifting is a problem, but treating your paying customers -- you know, the people responsible for your record profits -- like thieves is not the answer. I know I'm not the only one who quit going here when they installed an armed guard to detain customers who just dropped an ungodly amount on their overpriced stuff. How exactly this is preventing shoplifting is beyond me when the guards do not actually stop anyone. Maybe they could try out a proven anti-shrink technique, like staffing the store appropriately. However, that cuts into profits and is therefore crazy talk, so hassling someone who just gave you $200 is the only way to go.The cosplaying cops are just the cherry on top. Prices keep being hiked with no end in sight. Freddie's seems confused. New Seasons can try to charge me $8 for an Amy's frozen meal and it almost makes sense. I ain't paying it, but it makes sense in the context of the store and the customer experience. You can't provide a bottom-dollar experience AND demand premium prices. Pick one. They lock the door onto 28th at a ridiculous hour. May God have mercy on your soul if you entered that way and need to cross their dark parking lot. Please understand that what's really important here is investor profits. It simply wouldn't do to keep that door open and hire a couple attendants to monitor it. How could you be so selfish, only thinking of your personal safety?The prices are constantly off. It got to the point where there was an issue during every trip and I had to start taking a photo of every shelf tag, because cashiers would argue that I "saw it wrong" or "the price can't be wrong when it rings up." This has to be a known problem and the company is just begging for a lawsuit.No other grocery store in the area inconveniences and hassles its own customers like this. Figure out how to act like them if you want people to shop here.

Just now coming back from my local Fred Meyer. Now, I guess if you're a woman with olive complexion & have tattoos this sends off the insecure vibes with security & for the 1st time EVER, I felt totally harassed checking out at self-checkout, something I've done a thousand times in my lifetime, as the older white woman keeps riding my ass on what to do. Sweetheart I can't do anything when you bark orders at me & I sure as hell ain't a thief OR your child. Let me state some facts, I'm a woman who works in construction, makes more money & has the skills you don't because I put in that effort as my humble beginnings saw fit. You don't harrass honest, hardworking people unless you want to lose their business 100%! The security guy at the door was fine, but when you start having a bunch of security walking around the store making assumptions about people based on physical appearance that's when the place has gone to complete trash & is no longer worth going to. My VERY last time there & I can easily walk there.

My review is simply for the Deli department - the Asian man has the be the sweetest man but the other older white gentleman has to be the biggest piece of human disposal I've ever had the misfortune of having to interact with. Not only is he rude but he's dim - I ordered cold cuts and told him I'd be back for them .... He left them completely open exposed to the elements until I came back - I was SHOCKED. Didn't say anything just made a mental note haven't spoken to the store manager or district manager but I am contacting food safety and reporting this. disgusting

Headed to Fred Meyers to get my watch battery taken care of on my Nixon. Service was quick, and I’d definitely go there again. It was about $15.Linda was super sweet! Very helpful and allowed me to peruse jewelry while I waited on my watch.

I've had issues at this store for a while .The money order guy tried to con me saying my money wasn't proper for the order I was requesting said I was short $40 (I wasn't ) very suspicious. When I told him he counted wrong he said "well too bad you have to go back in the line " had to wait 26 min because of the big man with black hair in a ponytail and glasses who doesn't know how to count...... it's incredible how people don't think of the butterfly effect they cause for being bad at their job . YOUR JOB IS TO COUNT MONEY ! Do it properly and stop stealing money from people . I was late for my doctors appointment , had to wait 3 months to see my doctor because I had to reschedule that . Thanks for making me late ! I Instacart but I REFUSE to take orders from this place and I definitely DO NOT SHOP there personally . I greatly dislike that most orders I have to go through their checkout . One of their baggers didn't double bag it , I broke the bags when I was carrying to the customer , we had to refund stuff because I dropped the bags that were extra heavy and damaged items . Thanks for that LORI! If customer service isn't your thing , maybe don't work in it? Or maybe if you don't wanna do it , don't ? There is different Fred meyers (I recommend the one on Hawthorne and Cesar E Chavez . If your lucky to meet Sam he will greet you and make sure you are good ) new season is right next door .Better produce and better service.

I just had the weirdest interaction with a pharmacy tech over an anti-nausea prescription. This is the second time something like this has happened with this same tech (older woman, long gray hair) at this location. First off, they would not let me order a prescription refill until I only had about a days supply left, something I've never encountered at another pharmacy before. I was told it would be ready today by noon. I got there at 2:30 and the tech tells me it's not ready because they don't have any in. But they might be getting a shipment tomorrow. I ask if they have ANY? Even one or a sample that I could use to hold me over until tomorrow. She says "sorry, no."Then she types a bit more says "let me see if there's anything lying around" goes in the back for a minute comes back and is like: "Yeah, I think you're just gonna need to wait until tomorrow."Then she comments on the quantity I need and how it's such a big order (It's not even a 30 day supply for me) and she doesn't know if they'll even get enough in tomorrow to cover it. Then she says, "well, we can fill it today but it will take 40 minutes and it means there won't be any for anyone else."I said I was happy to wait if it meant I could get it today. 5 minutes later she calls my name and hands me my prescription. Again mentioning that there won't be any for anyone else. WTF was that about? Did this woman just not want to give me my prescription?? And why try to make me feel guilty for picking up a prescription that my dr ordered for me??? It's not even a controlled substance

For some masochistic reason I continue to use this place as my pharmacy. It is absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever used. On any given day, you can expect to find an hour long wait to pick up your scripts. And, it doesn't matter if there are 3 people ahead of you in line or 13.Once you get to the actual register and speak to a pharmacist they stare at the register and say things like:"Huh! Why is it doing that?""That's not supposed to happen."" I don't know what's wrong but I can't ring you up.""Somebody needs to help me fix this."Etc etc. so painful and yet I keep doing this to myself over and over again. Don't be like me. Go to a good pharmacy and forget about this terrible place.

Went to get my mom some earrings for her 80th. Found the perfect pair half off with another 10% discount-all great! But what made my experience exceptional was the service I received from Ashley ! She was extremely pleasant polite and helpful! She made a point of putting the earrings in an attractive box and into a gift bag with tissue paper. Just can't say enough about how much she improved my shopping experience and made the gift feel even more special ! Thank you so much!!

I ordered food for delivery...this is THE WORST food...white cake that I will just throw out. Anemic sour potato salad. VERY stale Panera sourdough. And substitutions that made no sense at all and when I had specified no substitutions on all items. I called to complain and could only talk to a bot who offered me 5 dollars off on my next order. There will be no next order. And the substitutions totaled about 7 dollars anyway. NEVER NEVER again. Amazon makes things right. And has decent food.

in Slackamas 172 street disgusting service is simply obscene for more than a year I have been going there for the misfortune of bread from the grand central, but there is no way you can't come 1 n they put bread for 500 people horror if you want to ask for help you can't wait for the banks to build in general no one reacts to you everyone sends to the left today from 2 x 30 PM to 4 x PM, for example, they were waiting for people called, they called for the customer service, they constantly deceived that they would come, no one even got up to come, in short, disgusting disgusting and disgusting.
