I switched pharmacies decades ago because this one had numerous errors with my prescriptions. Our insurance now requires me to use this for illness RX and postal RX for maintenance medications. So I'm sick with a wicked flu and the urgent care called my RX in. I got a text saying all 3 meds are OTC. One is a cortisone so I doubt it. I couldn't find it OTC so I stood in a long line to ask. Nope. Its RX. I asked how long..... 40 minutes. I went to a coffee shop to have tea rather than double back as I feel terrible. Over an hour later, still no text that it was ready, so I went back in to ask and they were closing the shutters for lunch. If they'd said it would be 2+ hours I'd have gone home. They still suck, decades later.
P.S. I finally got my RX a full 24 hours after it was called in. Lucky it's only a severe flu, not something serious like pneumonia, which I often get. No text saying it was ready. I usually get that text hours after I pick it up. These guys are a bad joke.

Not happy with this pharmacy. I really wish there were local owned pharmacies in my neighborhood. This place is always understaffed, super slow service, not communicative and very often, not inviting. Do not recommend.

Thank you to all the patient, knowledgeable and kind people who work in the pharmacy. Please know there are a lot of us out here that appreciate all you do and know how hard everyone works.

Today I called the pharmacy to see if my prescription was ready to be picked up and I waited on hold for 20 minutes before being hung up on. This was the second time I’ve waited on hold just to be hung up on today which is unacceptable after waiting on hold so long. My prescriptions are almost never ready on time here either and are almost always late being filled. There were times where I had to go without my medicine which put my life in danger because they didn’t fill the medicines on time. Defiantly wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy if you have a choice.

Better than CVS and Walgreens for faster lines, answering the phone, and filling more quickly. Their text system seems buggy, but at least they answer when you call so you can check your Rx status if needed.

At first the pharmacist didn’t want to fill the increase of benzos my doctor prescribed. I didn’t feel it was the pharamusts place to undermine my doctors prescription and I went into intense benzo withdrawals waiting 3 days when they finally agreed to fill my script. Since then no problems as my doctor called and made it very clear that they had increased my dose as the prescription read. Since then I have had no problems. Just some perms any brain damage from acute benzo withdrawals because a pharmacist didn’t believe I should be prescribed 12 mg of clolazapam a week

Time to hire someone else to work the pickup desk or train the pharmacists how to do it. You can regularly wait 20-30 minutes in line.

This place is genuinely horrific, and do not use them unless absolutely necessary. Expect the website to be inaccurate, employee times/confirmations to be inaccurate, every encounter with staff to be painful/feel incredibly judged about NEEDING your life saving medication the same time they agreed it would be ready, expect to feel like you do not matter and like it is a privilege to wait in their 2 hour lines for your medication that MIGHT be ready as it seems their staff shares half a brain cell that gets passed around from person to person depending on the day and their mood! It does not matter how friendly and understanding you are to these people- you will fight every single month to get your medication within any form of standard timeline. BEWARE OF THE HAWTHORNE FREDS PHARMACY

Staff are wonderful but they are horribly understaffed. It's very common to stand in line for 15 minutes before you even get seen because there's a dozen people waiting at all times. Moving my prescription elsewhere 😕

Dropped of prescription to be filled. Pharmacist offered to text me when prescription was ready. Decided to drive back to pharmacy after an hour and a half. Prescription was ready but they never texted me. Then they text me at 630 am a day after I already picked it up. This is a problem

Ridiculous customer service, unprofessional staff, called many time to know the status of proscription, putting on hold for 35 mins, and then hang up. Please don’t go this location. It’s waste of time and money.

The staff are usually nice, however they are usually busy. The main reason for my low review is their inability to transfer my prescription. I moved recently and I've been trying for a couple weeks to transfer my prescriptions, but they are not communicating with my new pharmacy.
