Terrible Fred Meyer, their staff will try to "trigger" people so their security can sink his teeth in. Unprofessional, profiling, harassment and I've also experienced expired food here as others have mentioned. Need to can their leadership and bring in some real people that care about the community they serve and live in.

I had a bad experience at Fred Meyer‘s Raleigh Hills pharmacy. I am a senior citizen and they gave me the wrong medicine and then they wouldn’t take it back. I did not order that medicine. i’m planning on changing pharmacies going to another company.

I don't know what has been going on this year but I am constantly finding things I bought from them are SEVERELY expired. A box of fruit snacks I just bought the other day expired OCTOBER 2023! A bottle of Starbucks espresso with cream and sugar I bought 2 weeks ago had expired at the beginning of MARCH! A loaf of bread I'd bought was already past good. Same with a bag of chips. I legit don't know what the hell is happening with them. Sure, the chips? Probably fine. The bread and coffee 100% NOT fine. And I will not believe the fruit snacks that are almost a year old are "fine". These aren't cheap things to buy. The coffee was $8. The bread was almost $5. The chips were around $4-$5. The fruit snacks were around $4. So make sure you're checking EVERYTHING if you come to this location. Not sure about the others. Also they pretty much never have the smaller carts unless you get there right at opening or right before closing. If you want to be sure to have one, just take one from the corrals and bring it in with you.

Staff are rude and untrained. If you want to buy nicotine, manager approval is needed- it does not matter if you are 70 years old

I literally purchased 4 items at self checkout and the cashier decided that my bag containing 4 items needed to be counted and verified even though there were people with baskets full of groceries that no one was individually counting. Profiled Much... Good Ole NW

I go to this Fred Meyer because they carry the brand of beer that I like at a decent price. I was just there buying the beer at the self check out and I was the ONLY person at the check out. When I scanned the beer naturally the notification that my ID needed to checked popped up. I turned toward the checkout attendant waiting for a response of some sort. I observed for a few moments the attendant shuffling around the podium they stand behind. Thinking that perhaps the notification for an ID check went "un-notice" I said in a very matter of fact, no attitude voice "I need an ID check" loudly enough to be heard by the attendant. She froze, looked at me with what I interpret as a "who the f are you to demand service from me - I'll get to you when I get to you" kinda look on her face and said she would be right there. After scanning my ID she said "thanks for waiting" in a way that to me was rather disingenuous. In the grand scheme of things this really doesn't matter. But jeez Louise - is it really that much to ask for her to simply acknowledge someone needing her help so they aren't wondering what's going on? I guess I was supposed to mindlessly stand there and hope he would eventually, I don't know, do her job. I hope Fred Meyer management understands that some of their employees appear to have a 'tude about them. But then I guess that why she works the evening shift.

Even though Beaverton is closer to me, I prefer Raleigh Hills for its customer service and its Grocery and Pickup departments. Raleigh Hills is especially superior to Beaverton for Pickup, as Beaverton has been the site of several very disappointing experiences for me recently. Raleigh Hills is the place to go!
