Worst vets office. Have been trying to go there over many years with two dogs, trying to get appointments etc. Got frustrated when we had emergency’s and they “ didn’t have time” to see us. No loyalty to long term clients. No return phone calls about tests results after repeated calls on our end. Test results were there, verified by receptionist, but doctor had to relay results. Over two weeks. We have x large breed dog, they never had a collar to fit her after a surgery. The ads and emails are weekly, so annoying. We’ve left Gabriel Park, should have many years ago…. So much better now we have people who respond.

Can never see vet or be with pet during pet care. Very expensive. Always different docs. Always prescriptions. Don't feel valued or cared for as customers. Guess pet care was ok. One vet, gone now, stayed there short time, helped a really sick cat get better. ONLY positive experience & that vet left shortly after. We're done. They got lots $'s from us.

I brought my dog in due to a big lump that she had on the back of her arm. Doctor Hawkins, the owner of the clinic, was her vet that day. After gracing her hand over it. She went right past it and moved on. I told her, "Will you please check that lump? It's the reason why I brought her in today." Doctor Hawkins immediately said, "Oh, that is nothing, don't worry about that." 2 months later that bump was 3 times the size that it was on the day doctor Hawkins investigated it. I brought my dog back into the clinic and was seen by a physician who was only covering a single shift for that weekend. In under 5 minutes, with a simple poke of a needle, that physician diagnosed that lump as a cancerous mast cell tumor. The tumor had just started to metastasize to other parts of her body (maybe because it was given an extra 2 months to do so and not stopped or diagnosed properly) Emergency surgery was needed. Due to doctor Hawkins, outright negligence, and unwillingness to even take 5 minutes to investigate my claim, meant my dog was 2 months behind her cancer treatment and had to have a far more invasive surgery, cutting away much more of her flesh than what would have been needed had doctor Hawkins spent 5 minutes to properly diagnose my dog when the tumor was 1/3 the size. When I called Gabriel park to ask them to transfer the records to a new primary care vet. The lady said those records have already been transferred and immediately hung up the phone very loudly without saying Goodbye or another word. Rude. Unprofessional. Incompetent. Known for being very expensive (which is why they have availability.) Do not bring your animal here.

This vet USED to be good until most the staff left. Last week they called my grandma and chewed her out for taking her dog somewhere else. Then had an appointment to get my senior dogs shots and she wouldn't even come out of the corner for the new vet (who chewed out my elderly grandmother for going to specialist for a third of the cost), then today my younger dog barks one time and they tell me I have to go wait outside when it's 102 degrees out and no shade where the concrete is probably 110-115. My dog was picked up and not able to even go anywhere and barks one time you and tell me to leave. This place has really gone downhill. I used to bring 4 dogs here. Now I'll be finding somewhere to go. This place really sucks now.

We have been to this vet clinic since 2017. Vets are in high demand now, and getting a pet in to see a vet is challenging. Our last several interactions with the clinic have been so poor - including incredibly unfriendly and irritable telephone staff. Despite being a family here for six years - they don't know us or our pets. I would look elsewhere (if you can find anything).

I can't give enough praises to Gabriel Park Veterinary. Dr. Hawkins and her staff are so smart, intuitive, kind, communicative, gentle, understanding and experienced. I will always be grateful for the exceptional care Vincent and Theo received thru different stages of their lives. Vincent, just recently, was cared for thru his last years, of 20. The thoughtfulness I received thru the process has been appreciated more than I can say. You can rest assured your beloved animal with receive the best of care from Gabriel Park Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Hawkins, Alex, Sam, all medical staff and the great people at the desk, with all my heart, I thank you for everything you did in caring for My Sweet Boy, Vincent. I thank you from the bottom of my heart ✨

Dr Hawkins and the staff at GabrielPark Vet are incredible. As veterinary staff myself, it’s great to have a local clinic to take my pets to that is run so efficiently and professionally.

Excellent clinic who have taken impeccable care of my retired racing greyhound. I trust no one else, and their staff is top notch.Very compassionate and considerate towards the urgency that parents of sick pets may experience. The front of house staff, especially Cait, have been extremely accommodating and understanding of my anxieties and worries.

Not sure how this place gets a 5.0 review on average. Absolutely shown no interest in having new clients and the customer service is not great. They don't accept any new clients, don't bother calling because if you ask when to call them back, the answer is don't bother. Don't want the job? Sure, other vets will be available for my business.

Our dog is ~100lbs and can get nervous-aggressive in new places despite all the behavior training we've worked on with him. The pros at Gabriel Park Vet worked with us to make each visit a success and kept everyone safe. Thank you so much for your patience (and courage) so our buddy could get his check-ups and grooming done!

Absolutely the worst because you didn’t notice I’ve brought pets in for fifteen years. Only because you are the closest to my house and I wanted to reduce trauma regardless of your exorbitant prices. I went in today to buy diabetic food for my cat. I go to Portland animal welfare team now because I’m really broke. You wouldn’t even sell me food without an exam, Evan though I offered diagnosis from the paw team. You guys are terrible. Everyone should know that. Want me to mention how you changed me $2000 for a rescue you put to sleep a day after I brought it in. I suspect you seeded the neighborhood with sick kittens so as to drum up business in this neighborhood of kind caring human beings. Zero stars stay away!

Sevice at Gabriel Park Vet has always been good BUT...I needed a refill RX that I wanted to refill at Fred Meyers. It did not need an exam but I was told they no longer wrote prescriptions to be filled elsewhere because they didn't have the time and that I would need to purchase it there. Really? How long does it take to write an Rx? 30 seconds? 1 minute? Then they charged twice the price that I would have paid at F.M. They said it was because Fred Meyers was able to get it from their suppliers at a cheaper price.Sorry, but I felt ripped off. Greed reared its ugly head, again.
