I had an excellent experience at George Morlan. I came to the location with a dishwasher hookup issue and the expert I spoke with gave multiple options that all solve the problem. He was pleasant to speak with and cared about sharing his knowledge, solving the problem, and connecting with me as a customer. Go here and thank you Jason!

We were in a bind and none of the box stores had the cartridge we needed for our shower. They had the part and gave good advice on how to put everything back together.

I had an unpleasant experience at George Morlan Plumbing. Two of the salesmen were extremely rude and unhelpful. I felt uncomfortable throughout my visit, as if my accent was not welcomed by the staff and they were eager for me to leave the store. Despite feeling unwelcome, I had no choice but to purchase the supplies I needed for my project. I strongly advise against shopping at this store and will be seeking an alternative plumbing store nearby.

This place is a throwback to old hardware stores where staff could speak to their department. They service pros and DIYers alike. They are very knowledgeable and can help steer you in the right direction. Just don’t expect Starbucks-style customer service, try to come in with a somewhat clear idea of what you’re looking for or at least have good pictures of what you’re dealing with. They deal with obtuse verbal descriptions of vague plumbing issues all day.

They're a great source for strange and obscure parts, but that's about all I use them for. Called them 10 minutes before they closed just to ask if a certain part could even be obtained. They put me on hold and never came back. Eventually the hold music changed to a message saying they were closed and it hung up on me. Go to consolidated supply.

Very odd experience dealing with the service center here. I called to get my 2 year old hot water heater that they installed, repaired. The service center rep was extremely condescending. Throughout the call he spoke to me in a rude and belittling way. I asked to be put on a waitlist in case a sooner appointment came up and he scoffed and without responding to my question, said, we’ll see you on your appointment date. I canceled my appointment and won’t be working with them again. After looking at other reviews, I see that I’m not alone in my experience. They need to work on their communication and customer service skills.

I recently purchased the RV that is in front of his fine Establishment. I'm awaiting parts to fix this eyesore. He has gone above and beyond in helping me and being extremely patient. I just wanted to publicly thank him and let all you people of there KNOW that this is a good man and business to deal with.Thank You, Sir.I'm diligently trying to keep my job and get it repaired. if anyone out there can help with this problem, please don't hesitate cause I don't know much of ANYTHING about RV's.

Had a water heater w/ a heat dispersion valve installed less than 2 years ago and it just started leaking at the thread because the tech didn't tighten it properly. I called the “Service” department to let them know since it flooded part of my basement and they talked to me like I was a child. The employees there generally have a condescending attitude so I only go there if I absolutely have to for a last minute part. Only reason I didn’t give them 1 star is there is one employee there that actually knows what he is taking about and treat’s customers with respect.

Having a great local plumbing store is such a treasure. Sooo much better than big box stores. I went in looking for a replacement bathroom faucet for one that was leaking. The person that helped me was so nice and patient, took the time to understand what I was dealing with, helped me figure out how to handle it, somehow went into the back and pulled out the perfect replacement, and helped me understand how to install it. It was my first time installing a faucet and I'm happy to say that it went great! Thank you!

Neely is the man! super honest. Saved me some money by telling me what I needed, or did not need. Even if it means not getting a sale I like that and will be using these guys from now on. A rough bunch of folks, but if you can get over that they can be of great value.

Came in with some parts that had failed on my bath tub faucet handles and within 3 minutes they were handing me oem replacement parts at a cost less than I expected to pay. It took me longer to drive here than to fix my tub with their help. No nonsense, extremely helpful, and I'm satisfied with the parts.

I have 1964 plumbing system that wears out piece by piece. As a do it yourselfer, I have tried many plumbing supply stores in the Portland area. No other plumbing supply store tops George Moreland Plumbing Supply in terms of parts on hand, expertise of the staff and their ability to get quick deliveries for parts ordered through them!

My customer experience during two visits was mediocre at best. Most employees seemed act as though customers are an irritation. On top of this, the showroom is disorganized and cluttered, prices are high, and wait times for out-of-stock items (which most seem to be) are very long.
