Walked into this shop and watched a bearded older man, who I can only assume is the owner, ruthlessly berating his employee. It was so uncomfortable. She was asking him to stop, mentioning that there were customers, and he legitimately looked at us and said "so what?!"
He was extremely hostile, to the point that I stood outside, worried about the woman's safety. I couldn't figure out what to do, because he was spewing such vitriol at her. She eventually walked into the backroom, while he had a seat at the counter.
This was such a horrible experience. Not only will I NEVER shop here, but I will also tell everyone I can about this experience.
Abusive employers have NO PLACE in Portland.

Um. This is my new favorite shop?? Purrfect for cat lovers who want to shop local and support local artists. It was everything I ever hoped and dreamed of and more. And the owner was very kind and wrapped up my more breakable purchases to make sure they survived the plane trip home.

Cute gift shop to visit based on cats! Plenty of knick knacks, pins, stickers and other merchandise to browse. The curator was also very polite. He gave us plenty of information on the local artists involved with the store. Parking was simple, we parked in the neighborhood behind the main street. Plenty of other shops on the main street to visit too!

What an adorable shop! Amazing variety of gifts for your favorite cat lover. Lots of art pieces, stickers, trinkets, even puzzles - be sure to roam and look at every little display. There is also a great variety of prices, whether you are looking for just an inexpensive birthday card or a unique painting. I also really loved that the shop was busy on a Saturday, clearly somewhere people want to check out.

We recently visited GiftyKitty, a store that specializes in cat-themed gifts for humans, and it was such a unique experience! I came here a few months back with a friend of mine and was incredibly surprised by how cool this place looks. EVERYTHING is cat themed. A serious hole in the wall for non-locals. If you want some swag to show off your love for cats this is the place to go!!

Such a cute store with cat-themed everything! I always stop by to get gifts for my creature and cat loving friends.They have cat-themed artwork, decor, cat spoons, plant holders, oven mitts, toys, books, stickers and everything else in between. And the small store looks like a fantasy land when you walk in.
