I had a fantastic experience with Joseph. I was super late and felt so bad but I called and let him know I was coming, so he stayed and cut my hair. It’s one of the best hair cuts I’ve ever had and I feel like it just keeps getting better with time!

Had a great haircut by Mariann Butler! She is amazing! A curly hair genius among other things! I am really happy, she made me look great , had helpful tips, and used nice good products. I will be back regularly !

Mariann did an incredible job on my hair, as someone with thick Long wavy hair it was important for me to find someone who understood texture, She slayed and was so patient and friendly, if you're looking for a chemical strightner she is you girl. My hair is so soft shiny and manageable!! Cant wait to go back for touch ups:)

This is a wonderful hair salon. Joseph, the owner, does a wonderful job with anything I ask for. He listens carefully to what I want, and I receive many compliments on my hair after he's worked with it. In addition, he has a great sense of humor.

I finally got up the courage to try a new-to-me hair salon and so glad I did (my last hair dresser I had for 25 years, but is 2 hours away and I tried 3 other places without success). Joseph is amazing at his craft. He is easy going and enjoyable to talk with. He was great at asking questions to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted. The highlights and haircut for my baby fine hair turned out amazing. He got it spot on —even better than I’d pictured. He is truly a gem! Today was my first visit to Hair Architects, and I am absolutely delighted! I've struggled to find a hairstylist that I'm 100% happy with since moving to Portland 2 years ago. Joseph did an incredible job trimming, styling, reshaping and blow-drying my fine and flyaway hair today, and I left the salon feeling more glamorous than I have in forever! My hair does one thing when wet, and a completely different thing when dry. Joseph is the only professional I've been to that takes the time to ensure my hair looks good both before and after drying. As an attorney, it's incredibly important that I look good and come across as professional and polished. I'll keep going to him for a long as humanly possible - he's fantastic. 13/10 - highly, highly recommend.

I showed up with a super lopsided haircut from a prior place and Emily did a great job salvaging it! Given what she was working with, Emily did a fabulous job. I left with a lovely hair cut that no longer looks like a drunken toddler took a mower it it. Will be coming back

Anna Rose took such great care of my hair- first time in and my curls were well cut and the color! Perfect!!!! The salon was having a great time the Friday night I was there, so much fun to sit there!

Great neighborhood salon, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I had an appointment with Mariann and I'm so happy with the results! I wanted to brighten up my hair and add dimension for the summer, she killed it even without a reference photo from me. (see my review photos for before and after) She was a good listener and gave me a hair mask treatment and some curls at the end. The salon is clean with lots of natural lighting and fun music. They can do textured hair as well which I think is great.Services: Haircut
