The worst customer service ever!! I asked if I could pay with a debit card after using my credit card for deposit. They said that was fine. It was not apparently. So I wasted an hour, which it should never have taken that long in The first place. I then transferred Money onto my credit card but for some reason they couldn’t run it again. While all this was happening one of the employees noticed that Sondra, or whatever the middle eastern ladies name was who was helping me, had a customer on hold for over 15 minutes forgotten on the phone. What did they do? “ I’m just gonna hang up on them because I have to make a phone call anyways.” So that was exactly what they did. Absolutely atrocious customer service. You are the absolute worst at your jobs. Never issuing Hertz again. I’ll hitchhike first, seriously.

Jeremy is the best!!This was my first rental, jeremy helped me through everything and helped me find the perfect car. He was so extremely nice, this experience was some of the best customer service ive ever had. Im happy with the rental and Hertz overall, will definitely work with them again if i ever need to rent a car. Thanks jeremy!

I rented a car for a month and got a much better rate here than what was offered at the airport location!When I initially made the booking, I didn’t realize that my flight was expected to land after the office closed. I called the office to see if they could hold my car until the next morning since I had pre-paid and everything. The gentleman on the phone was super friendly and let me know that they would be able to hold the car for me.Once I got there, the staff was helpful and kind.The car was a brand new Nissan Altima that worked perfectly! The rental return process was also super nice and easy!

I was visiting family in Portland and rented a car to go see my Dad in Klamath Falls. My brother and I went to this Hertz on Stark St and JoJo helped us, she was great! Despite the fact that one of their two computers was completely down, Jojo and her new coworker kept their cool and professionalism through it all while assisting customers. In helping me get a car there were a few technical glitches but Jojo was positive through the whole thing, making pleasant conversation, laughing with my brother and I, and finding another solution to solve the problem. I can't say enough that despite dealing with an adverse situation and being under a time crunch it was a good interaction with her. Unlike the other customer's car the one I was given ran like a charm, no problems at all. It got me there and back safely and without any issues.

Terrible company, would recommend using Turo which is an app that just let’s you just borrow cars from regular people like Airbnb. Hertz does not care about its customers, will up charge you whenever possible, and deceive you about what they can actually do for you

Avoid this location at all cost they are a bunch of crooks i rent a car every other month due to my job i made a reservation for a car on the net thru (expedia) it tells you if the deal your getting is a electric car this was a gas car i went in the lady at front desk told me i was getting an ev i told her the reservation was for gas it didnt say ev she was quick with that lie lol "when you rent thru a 3rd party it doesnt say whether its ev or gas you have to do it directly thru hertz" i told her its ok she said wait spoke to a gentleman in a office and said she can give me a gas car but its gonna be $29 extra perday lmaooo im renting a car for 30 days no way im not paying that. i will take my business elsewhere.

4/5 (gave 5/5 to up the average because they don't deserve 1.5 stars :/ ). Was wary at first because of the other reviews, but besides being a little run down from the outside, everything else was great! Service was good, car was brand new and clean, interior of the office was standard and clean. All in all a good run of the mill experience compared to other rentals. Must be new management because the hertz I visited is nothing like what these reviews described. Staff was honest and friendly !

I was a little leery about renting here with the bad reviews, however, I received nothing but excellent service and a super easy pickup and drop off. I was pretty late to pick up due to bad traffic and a late work meeting and I know their policy is to only hold for a short time. I had called the manager, Jeremy, In a panic as it was a holiday weekend and very busy. He eased my mind that he would hold it for me and stuck to his word. The car was in great condition and we had no issues on a long road trip. Dropping off was just as easy. Bummed other people have had such bad experiences but I can honestly say this was the best experience I have had with a rental car!

Me and some friends rented a cat from here to go on a road trip to glacier national park in Montana. We picked the car up the day before and left at 4am the next morning. As soon as we turn the car on there's the check engine light and another problem alert light. We get about 2 hours into our trip and the gas starts cutting out on the freeway. We go from 75-50 super fast because we can't apply gas and almost get pancaked by a semi behind us. We pull over. This happens a couple other times. We call customer service and they are no help AND they hung up on us! We drive the car all the way to Spokane airport and demand a different car from hertz. We get one but have to pay extra fees and taxes because it's a Washington airport. They say we need to talk to the stark location. When we get back we all go in to stark and demand the extra fees and extra driver fees we paid be waived for are troubles (not to mention putting our lives in direct danger) they say the manager has to clear it but should be ok. The next day we get a message to call because they can't close out the contract and basically we still had to pay all the fees! Now, I have a old car. If I wanted to drive a unsafe car hundreds of miles I could have taken my car for free. I have never experienced worse customer service in my life! I can't believe no one will be held accountable for giving us a dangerous car. Totally unacceptable.
