It’s crazy how time flies but we’ve been bringing pets here for nearly 19 years! I think that says it all right there :- )

Dr. Keith Weingardt is an amazing veterinarian and we are lucky we get to work with him. He has a wealth of knowledge and cares for his patients and their human companions. Dr. Keith has guided us through countless emergencies with our dog. Dr. Keith has always helped us balance our dog's pharmaceutical medical needs and holistic supplementation. There is no one else we would rather trust our dog and cat's medical care with. The office staff are also amazing and very kind. They are really fast at sending us refills and are always helpful. Thank you for all you do!

Dr Wiengard advised a client against life saving antibiotics and medical care for her cat. This man does not deserve a license. Holistic care should be used alongside ACTUAL medical professionals. You are killing pets.

Holistic Pet Vet Clinic is absolutely FABULOUS! They know their stuff, are compassionate, patient with the animals, great communicators and truly do good work. I have been pleased with every single interaction I've had with the doctors, techs, and the reception team. I fully endorse this clinic as my preferred clinic for my pups. I have been especially happy with the care of Dr. Kristi Hanna - she has gone above and beyond in all ways. She is truly a beautiful human with so much insight, expertise and a great clinical gut (that means she trusts her instincts and follows them). Micah has been under her care and she monitors him closely; and now Micah's brother Titus, gets to see Dr. Hanna too! She's wonderful! (I do want to respond to a comment I saw about Dr. Ulbrich being gruff. I think he is highly intelligent and therefore is processing things while we are busy asking questions. Trust him. He's good with the animals and knows how to bring healing to them. That's all you need to know.) Excellent clinic. I fully endorse them and fully trust my pups to their care. 5 stars!

While I enjoyed the DVM themselves. The Office Staff are less than pleasant to deal with. Scheduled my dogs neuter four months out. Asked multiple times if something is in my file and they could not answer a simple question. This is also the only office staff I've known to demand the owner move in my entire life while a blood draw happens. Most offices well let a 6ft 2 200lb man hold onto the animal and their animals face while a draw happens. Simply because the animal trusts the owner more than said office staff.

Spent nearly $500 for an exam, adjustment and bloodwork THEY said I should do for my old dog when all I wanted was chiropractic for him. They then recommended thyroid meds when the dogs thyroid was completely NORMAL for the breed!!! Not even considering there are breed specific values is unacceptable and rather frightening. We will not be going back or recommending. It is all about the money there.

I heard that Holistic Pet did dental cleanings without anesthesia, and I definitely wanted to give them a try to avoid using anesthesia on my 1 year old dog Pepper. I was a bit confused about which entrance was the waiting room, but it's the smaller one without the food ...the other area is for pharmacy pickups I think :) Anywho, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They provided my dog with fresh water & some yak cheese puffs while she waited. The paperwork was minimal (3 pages), and I actually really like that they use paperwork in a largely digital world. I like traditional things like that.I was able to go back with her for the pre-cleaning physical & talk to the vet for a bit before her cleaning started. The vet provided several nice resources for reading and for training to help Pepper's self-confidence. The vet mentioned that she uses Chinese medicine & that Pepper is likely a wood-water type. I asked more about this, and I didn't feel rushed during the vet portion of the visit. The hygienist took Pepper & it was maybe 15 min before she was finished. As an example from an anesthesia based dental practice - they want drop off at about 7AM and pickup typically at 4PM & your animal is woozy/out of sorts for potentially days afterwards. The hygienist said that her teeth didn't need very much cleaning & she introduced Pepper to the polishing process. The hygienist then did a very thorough breakdown of what to watch out for with her (she has one spot that has teeth crowding) and that she was missing some teeth that never grew in. The vet & all the staff used positive reinforcement with high value and high quality treats like beef liver and yak cheese puffs to make Pepper feel like this was a largely fun and enjoyable process. I enjoyed looking at their selection of high quality food, treats, and toys while I waited for her. The prices for the services and for the food/treats were very fair. Even their bathroom was very nice! We'll definitely be back for Pepper's 6 month cleaning & my cats already have appointments scheduled. The only little gripes I have is that the waiting room is very hot from the sun (I'm not sure what they have access to in order to cool down that space) & I didn't receive a reminder call about the appointment. They also require a deposit for your first visit - so just be aware of that too. Otherwise, nothing but praise for their work :)

My Frankie was so sick and I had gone to Dr. Bob with Frankie’s regular checkups. My dog has anxiety so it’s hard to tell whether he is just anxious or really sick. Well in this case he really was sick! Not only on a full schedule did they squeeze him in the last minute, Dr. Bob listened to everything I said to make an assessment, even though it was probably time for him to go home. Frankie was having asthma attacks or so I thought. Turns out he had a toxin in his body. It was a hard weekend after we left, and the emergency room was so packed, I was on a hope and a prayer. I was getting flack from people about going the homeopathic route and I even questioned it after I came home that night and gave Frankie his meds that were prescribed. After a full body purge, this champion made it through and now is better then he was a few years ago. His breathing is good, his stomach isn’t gurgling, no more anxiety. He is like a puppy at 10 1/2. Words cannot express my gratitude. And had I gone to a modern day veterinarian, He may have well been prescribed the wrong thing and got sicker. I know now that the quality of life my dog has, has improved. Why wouldn’t you want your dog to spend its last years in as much comfort and joy as possible. I stick to my beliefs of whole body medicine, and believe this was nothing short of a miracle. Do your dog a favor and bring him to this caring and compassionate healing center. There is no better care. Dr. Bob and staff are the Cadillac of vets!

Dr. Bob is the man! If you want heal your pet from disease instead of only treating symptoms and getting no where, you want to see Dr. Bob. He's legit and knows his stuff. And every time my husband and I take our cat to see him, we just feel better. Our cat was really struggling with IBD and after seeing Dr. Bob and getting on his plan, she's doing completely better and I feel like we've gotten a lot more extra time with her.Dr. Bob and his staff are seriously the best and I'm so grateful to have found them! Thank you guys for all that you do!

Dr. Ulbrich and his staff were so good with my whole gang of rescues. All of them have pretty severe anxiety, and he has such a mellow demeanor he was able to do a full exam on my cat, which is no small task. We discussed options for dental care that will keep them safe and at ease in a way that makes me feel confident taking more proactive steps at home. The staff was also able to give my big adolescent dog a nail trim without sedation, which is honestly miraculous. He normally needs so much sedation at traditional vets and ends up having an upset tummy for days after. Will recommend this amazing clinic to all my people who want the best care for their pets.

My wife and I have been taking our animal companions to Holistic Pet Vet for the past five years, and up until recently they were amazing. That changed around the end of 2019. We originally saw Dr. Ericka, and she was absolutely fantastic with our critters. Dr. Bob knows his stuff and is on great terms with our cats.....If only that were the case when we visited with our dogs. One dog was diagnosed with lymphoma at the beginning of the year, and their follow-through was absolutely abysmal. When I say it was terrible, I mean it was nonexistent. "Hey, come buy these supplements" became their de facto response. There was no troubleshooting and there was no attempt at providing better care for our old girl as she neared the end of her life. All the while having been a patient of this vet clinic for HALF of her life. These days, it feels like we are passed around to whomever the new veterinarian is. It's not about continuity of care, and it's certainly not about providing a solid quality of care. This, to me, sounds like a money making venture to push as many supplements as possible, all the while providing subpar care. I get it, 2020 is rough, but guys, you need to up your game before you start losing clients.I put in a call to Mary, the clinic manager, earlier today & she was not available to take my call.
