Superb service and great products!Seems we keep buying older homes, fixing them up for ourselves, and then having to move on to the next. We keep going back to House of Antique Hardware again and again. We do so because we love the selection of products and are impressed with their customer service.They must have a great CRM system because they know who I am when I call and how much business I've done with them in the past. I like that a lot. It makes me feel like I'm an important customer even though my purchases probably pale in comparison to others.Regardless of the issues I've had (bought the wrong product, questions about how to use things, and even received an incorrect order), they are quick to help and always without any issues. They provide a great example of what excellent customer service should be.Regarding their products, their push-button switches look so authentic, my realtor told me I was going to have to switch them out before I could sell my house. And their face plates are so beautiful, I found that my neighbor had installed the same ones...seems we both have impeccable taste.

I had been looking looking for unique faceplates for my home bar and stumbled across House of Antique Hardware. Their super detailed descriptions of products and their price point drew me in. I ordered the unlacquered brass covers with a mother of pearl push switch and they were awesome! Shipping was fast, items better than expected, and price was great.My one knock is I wish the website had actual pictures of some products instead of renderings. The product I got was so much better than the rendered version on the site. I know this is easier said than done so can't fault them for it!Overall, 11/10 experience

Horrible place to do business. Product was not as advertised and did not fit the doors. Returned the product but warehouse lost packages and House of Antique claimed return was never received yet UPS provided exact date, time and person who received the package. After that I had to fight to get a credit back for my return. Horrible customer services, horrible product and horrible company

My item was shipped way later than stated. I have now received my 3rd delivery exception notice. My shipment is now 5 days later than promised and counting. Will never buy from these people again.

We've ordered a lot of hardware from houseofantiquehardware.com for a renovation we are doing of a 1905 building. They have the best selection, a great website, and I've found that their customer service is outstanding. We have had a few issues (on our side) which required their assistance and, in each case, I've received incredibly prompt and helpful customer service. I cannot recommend this company enough.

BUYER BEWARE! An absolutely horrible company to deal with regarding returns/refunds. I ordered Shutter hinges the end of September 2022 and promptly returned them for lack of quality. House of Antiques received the return on October 11th 2022 and has not issued a refund as of November 2022.

Horrible experience. Ordered some railing which were so small, dollhouse size. No problem. I paid for return shipping $40. And when the package got lost I simply needed them to fill out an insurance claim which takes all of 30 seconds I told them. I called and emailed them 10x. Always an excuse about being short staffed. Yet when you want to place an order they are magically staffed. Garbage business and customer service. Wasted $150 on these folks.

I've ordered many things from this site, with great success. But recently ordered a lock set that matches the other ones I bought. News to me, they changed the product. Now I can't get a response from the customer service dept. I did exchange a few emails, then they quit responding, as they don't want to help! So the customer service dept is horrible.

What an excellent business. There are some companies that just give you confidence because they do everything right. Good quality products, fair pricing, truly superior customer service, trustworthy. This type of company is on the endangered species list. They should be used as a case study for business schools as a model for how to run a successful business. I only gave them 5 stars because 10 stars wasn't available! I'm an extremely happy customer.

I've recently become a customer and purchased furnace floor vents and lighting products. Quality of goods is very high. This isn't the cheap stuff you find on Amazon. If you are looking for hardware items for your home I'd highly recommend looking into this retailer.

Their stock is perfect for replacement hardware for the really old stuff. Found small, wooden wheel casters for a 1900 ish oak barrel table.
