Had the extremely unfortunate/awkward/and tasteless experience of meeting an employee named ‘Mr. Jole’ at this office. The list of innapropriate statements and personal questions is quite lengthy. ‘I would have never thought that was your mother. Where do you live mom? You don’t have to tell me but where do you live’ ‘well I don’t know what’s going on with you today but I guess it’s none of my business’ ‘are you sure you two are related? Your mom is just so…easygoing’ ‘is ok if I poke a little fun at her mom?’ and when I left he decided to yell my name several times to tell me ‘it’s important to stay positive in life you so don’t end up back here’. As a woman in her mid 30s I certainly didn’t appreciate being placated, nor the extremelyUnprofessional personal questions about our relationship to one another orwhere she lives. Annoying and condescending person who really should not be representing a government office.

I was helped by Brain, he is why I changed my review, he was super helpful and kind to me and another person he helped while I was there, he told me how to get a hold of the IRS over the phone if I need an appointment in the future, and I was able to avoid making an appointment to resolve my issues. The lady who does the phones is a lair, and told me the man who previously did her job for years was incorrect, which that man is super lovely and I appreciate him a lot. And tried to tell me the banks arent use for direct deposit. I got her to admit that wasnt true but she still didnt give me the information I was asking for. She answered the phone very rudely, and took her bad mood out on my when I called her out for being dishonest and rude. She called me rude after talking over me, and super hypercritical. Would rate the phone system 1 star, I wish there were more poeple like Brain at the IRS that actually care for poeple. And the only reason its still 5 stars.

At the tax payer assistance center and had our number skipped 7 different times while watching people coming in with appointments an hourAfter ours being served before us. You should probably learn how to use your own number system instead of leaving someone with a newborn baby waiting in the lobby for close to 3 hours. Ignored and skipped over so many times that our parking time limit was 10 minutes from expiring.

I can't even reach a human when i call...I just have a question..Ugh... So i come and post here..Maybe, i can get an answer to my question...My ex-husband owes me 12k in child support...His wife claimed spousal injury and got back 4k that the IRS took from them in their 2020 taxes that i just found out about last year......How many times can she claim spousal disability ? To get out of having to pay me what's owed...It would be nice to have that 12k...

Website said to call the office to make an appointment. Called and automated voice said the lines are too busy and got hung up on. Why can’t I make an appointment online? I just want my hard earned money

When I called the number I had to call numerous times and push different numbers until I pushed the one that put me through to a live line, I waited for about half an hour and finally talked to someone and made an appointment after they looked into my case and figured out what was wrong, you can usually fix most things via mail or phone, I went in to make it go faster and to ask questions plus to make sure I was doing everything right.

This building is considerably more attractive than the two monstrosities directly north of it on Third Street. The wall of greenery at the base flows into the vertical metal bars that are projected from the front of the building. These elements coupled with the green glass and the “flying roof” make for a visually interesting and non-threatening federal facility. It amazes me to see architecture this good standing one block down from the absolutely hideous federal courthouse.
