KC was absolutely delightful to work with. I had been house hunting unsuccessfully for about two years before meeting her, and came in with a really specific wishlist for my first home. She struck the perfect balance of being warm yet professional, offered suggestions without being pushy, was knowledgeable about any curveball questions I threw at her, and gave insightful advice about things I hadn't even considered. The inspection period and weeks leading up to closing were stressful in myriad ways, and she was there for all of it. I think most importantly, she is one of the most upstanding and kind people I've ever met and I felt supported through the whole process. I'd highly recommend working with her.

KC has been so patient and responsive with us over the past year of looking for the right property for us. She is very communicative, asks good questions, gives articulate answers, and is all around responsible and reliable. She was also willing to tromp around in forests and other challenging terrain and hang out with our child while we tried to figure out property lines and brainstorm house fixes. Highly recommend KC.

If you’re looking for the best realtor, someone who you can trust - you’ve found her! I cannot recommend KC enough. I was a very clueless first time homebuyer, who basically woke up one morning and decided to buy a home, and KC literally made it happen. I was blown away by how knowledgeable she is, I was looking for a very specific[ally small] price range and homes under a specific program (SDC) and she knew all about it, and was able to show me multiple places that met the criteria when I had only really found one myself. She helped me consider things I had never thought of as we looked at properties. She walked me through every single step of the process, made sure I understood what was going on, made sure I understood things I was signing, etc. I was just in awe by how responsive, on top of it, detail oriented and thorough she was, every step of the way. She fought hard for me on important issues the seller was pushing back on, it seemed absolutely effortless on my side of things. In the end I ended up with a great deal on my dream home and I would do it a million times again with KC!

We met KC when we were looking for a dream home in Vancouver. We had quite the list of what we wanted and really didn’t think we would find it for a long time. KC saw a listing that had just come on the market and immediately set up a showing. We went to look and were honestly in shock at how perfect it was! KC helped us write an offer that night and we went under contract. She was with us every step of the way and got us through some stressful moments with a positive and realistic outlook your entire time. Then, she turned around and helped us sell our two year old (nothing special about it) new build! She was relentless in getting it sold, she even mowed the lawn herself to get it ready for pictures. KC was awesome and has become a trusted friend!

Wow, where to start? KC was our trusted real estate guide for over a year, showing us many listings, and shepherding us in the right direction - always listening to what we wanted and needed in our long list (schools, neighborhoods, # of bedrooms, types of house, etc. etc.) When we got impatient and almost settled, KC would gently ask questions that allowed us to realize we should wait for the perfect house - and we're so glad we did! Once we found "the one", KC skillfully brokered our deal and guided us through the inspection process, calling in the best experts to ensure our 100+ year old house was solid. The true icing on the cake was that she got us a full price offer on selling our current home before it was even listed! While simultaneously buying and selling houses isn't always easy, KC truly pulled miracles and negotiated terms that made each transition seamless. I enthusiastically recommend KC Heaney if you're in the market to buy or sell a house, or think you might be one day! She's tenacious, relationship-focused, and very well-versed in the Portland housing market. She really listened to what was important to us about our next house.She establishes good working relationships with other agents, and proactively advocates for her clients. (Extremely helpful when you're in negotiations on repairs!) We ended up pivoting a few times and KC was always right there with us, patiently showing us the same houses multiple times so we could get a good feel. She's got a great network of lenders, inspectors and tradespeople, so we were able to get quick quotes while we were in contract, which helped in our negotiations.We found a dreamboat of a house, and miraculously were able to see it four times (!). KC coached us to put together a great offer, which beat out the other offer, she lined up all the inspections and we closed in three weeks, thanks to her guidance navigating this ever-changing market. I hope I never move out of this house, but if I do I'll work with KC again in a heartbeat.

I have been struggling to buy a condo until I was introduced to KC Heaney.KC really listened, even as I’m not a native English speaker. She explained every procedure, real estate terms that have been a stressful and difficult to me. She is a professional, detail oriented, knowledgeable and honest agent. She answered all my questions about the property or the neighborhood, and also reminded me something I wasn’t aware of.One thing went above and beyond was that KC handled the process while I was out of town two weeks. KC understood I couldn’t cancel my travel plan, so she coordinated with the seller agent, title company and the HOA, and made the whole process smoothly – she gave me the keys right after I back to town for me to move in! I definitely love to collaborate with KC again, and highly recommend her to whoever is looking to buy or sell a home in Portland.
