Kim is amazing. Came looking for a dress and jacket. Found both at amazing prices, no less. Her prices are absolutely reasonable, and she even through in some more deals. So happy that we will be ready for our big day thanks to Miss Kim!

I have really struggled with how to write this review, because I'm so shocked at the level of crappy work I just paid for that it's hard to put it into words. So I'll just include photos of what was done. I asked for a zipper to be replaced on a vintage 1960s Prairie dress. I sell vintage clothing, and this one is worth a lot. It's a rare and special find for me. I dropped it off and when it was time to pick it up, she didn't even replace the zipper. She tried to pass it off that she fixed it by re-attaching it. First off, I already tried that, thanks. Second, the moment I tried the zipper it broke again. She didn't even check to make sure it worked, or she tried to take me for a fool. Either way, it wasn't fixed. She said she would replace it and to come back. She replaced the zipper alright, and did some of the worst stitching at the top I've ever seen. I can do better than that with my eyes closed. Just because I brought my sewing to her doesn't mean I can't sew, and I know bad sewing when I see it. She obviously ripped the top of my dress and this is how she fixed it?!? Are you kidding me!? Additionally, the stitching had a bunch of loose threads in it and she didn't follow the old line of stitches at all. Overall just really shoddy work. I also dropped off my beloved 1960s party dress. The strap on it broke. An easy fix if you just go in from the bottom side of the dress and reattach it. Something I could do but didn't have time for. It's a simple hand stitch, really. She butchered it where she fixed it, as you can see in the photos. She just ran right over it with her machine. It's not even fixable. This is not a person who pays attention to their work, who checks to make sure things are done right, or who cares about the quality of the work they put out. She has ruined two amazing vintage dresses in a way I will never be able to fix. I was initially excited to be bringing my items here for tailoring and alterations, but I'll won't even be bringing back a button.

Please note that Yelp incorrectly displays the old address for this business. Two years ago, Kim's Kreations moved half a mile down the street, to their current location at 6253 NE Sandy Blvd. The business owner, Kim, told me she's had difficulties trying to get Yelp to update the address. Also, the business is closed on Tuesdays and Sundays. For their current days and hours, please see the photo accompanying my review. I visit Kim's Kreations whenever I need an article of clothing repaired. They always do a great job and Kim is straightforward about what she can and can't do with repairs. I have saved so much money not discarding clothes when they need repair, and instead paying Kim a few dollars to get holes patched, zippers and buttons replaced, rips sewn up, etc. Their prices are great -- they have charged me as little as $2 for simple jobs like sewing buttons back on. Kim also runs a nonprofit organization out of the same building called Southeast Asian Relief Association (SARA). They provide humanitarian assistance to disabled and orphaned children and the poor in Vietnam. You can help their great work by putting a couple bucks in the SARA donation box when you visit her store.

I was in this store for 30 minutes and I didnt see one employee and there was so much stuff packed into such a tiny space making it impossible to actually see the different dresses that they have for sale.
