I have been coordinating moves with managed moves for a few years now and they have been nothing but professional, pleasant and most importantly efficient. they are more then just a mover, they help with all sorts of things!

Managed Moves helped us move my elderly father, which was a monumental task, as he was moving from a large, multi room apartment, to a small one bedroom apartment. The coordinated effort would require movers to delicately move large antique furniture, to various locations, as well as dispose of old broken furniture, donations of furniture that was of no use to him, etc. Lots of "moving" parts to this plan (no pun intended), and Managed Moves executed the entire move seamlessly. Not only was everything expertly delivered to it's specific destination, the final bill was hundreds of dollars less expensive than the quote given, to which we were grateful. The movers were friendly, considerate, patient and thoughtful throughout the entire process, even when there was some situations that arose unexpectedly, due to our haste (not theirs), and they managed each hurdle with grace. We recommend Managed Moves 100%, and thank them for an "above and beyond" job, and took the work and worry, right out of what would normally be a super stressful move. Thank you Managed Moves!!!

This was the third time our family has used Managed Moves for moving our parents into new facilities. Each time, they sent someone out to review the items moved for an accurate estimate. Every time, they were prompt, courteous and their attention to detail was phenomenal. Personally, I was very happy they took the time to hook up tv, computer and internet each time so it was one less thing my dad (and me) had to worry about. I've already recommended you guys a few times on local FB groups and I'm happy to do again here. Thank you and your crews from all of us.

I genuinely cannot say enough about the phenomenal services that Managed Moves provides. Over the past 10 months, my sister and I have hired Managed Moves for four different jobs involving our parents. Managed Moves moved them from their townhome to independent senior living, cleaned out their townhome so it could go on the market, moved them from independent senior living to an assisted living facility, and handled an internal move at their assisted living facility when our parents needed to be moved to individual apartments. Not only did Managed Moves handle each of those situations with grace, tact, professionalism, and enthusiasm, the last two moves both had to come together with less than two weeks notice both times. Whether it has been the office staff coordinating the move or clean out from the main office, the folks who have come the day before a move to pack everything up, the crew that shows up the day of the move to do the lifting and carrying, or the person who has come the day after the move to unpack everything, every interaction we have had with every person on Managed Moves staff has been personable and engaging. Clearly, all of the employees at Managed Moves go out of their way to make everyone involved in the move feel like family. During the packing session for our parents very first move, our mother latched on to one of the packers and talked to the woman nonstop for multiple hours. Rather than appear flustered or irritated by the very real distraction, the packer warmly responded to everything our mother said and honestly engaged her in conversation (all while continuing to do a remarkable job of packing up everything in site). Equally wonderful is the fun quirk that one young man has been a member of all four crews that have done work for our parents. When he saw me the second time we were using Managed Moves, he went out of his way to say hello to me. During the third and fourth jobs, we have both had fun discussing things that have had nothing to do with the move. Beyond the amazing personal interactions, Managed Moves is able to increase their efficiency and effectiveness because they know the ins and outs of every senior living facility in the Portland area. They not only know how to get around in the buildings quickly, but also they know how to do it without disrupting the daily routines of all the other residents. Although the state sets the rates that all licensed movers are able to charge, I have always felt that we are getting an overwhelming bargain with Managed Moves because the quality of the experience has been breathtaking. The reality is that my sister and I will likely have to move one of both of our parents one or two more times, and the one absolutely certainty is that we will be hiring Managed Moves for those moves. Even if Managed Moves were to be charging twice what we have paid, I would feel like I was getting a steal. If you have a senior that needs to move into senior living and/or needs their former residence cleaned out, hiring Managed Moves is one of the smartest things you can possibly do.

Managed Moves dazzles and delivers! Without question they are experts as moving seniors, but what truly sets them apart is the quality of their service and the congenial nature of their employees -- whether it is someone working in the office coordinating moves or a person packing up belongs before the move or the individual doing the lifting and carrying on the day of the move. Personally, I have no idea how my sister and I would have survived the last 10 months without them. Since the end of October 2023, our parents have moved from a townhome to independent senior living, needed their townhome cleared out so it could go on the market, moved from independent senior living to assisted living, and had to make an internal move at their assisted living facility to separate apartments. Managed Moves has handled everyone of those situations and done so with grace, patiences, kindness, and professionalism (which is even more impressive when one realizes that the last two moves came together with less than two weeks notice each time). I genuinely feel like the core philosophy at Managed Moves is to treat every customer like family -- that is certainly the way that they have treated my sister, our parents, and me. One wonderful quirk is that, for all four instances when we have hired Managed Moves, one young man has been a member of the crew each time. When he saw me the second time we were using them, he went out of his way to say hello to me. And, at the third and fourth times, we have engaged each other in conversations that have had nothing to do with the actual move. Every member of their staff has shown me a similar level of genuine interest in us and our parents. On top of the excellent, personalized service, Managed Moves also knows the ins and outs of every senior living facility in the Portland area which allows them to be efficient and effective without disrupting the daily routines in the facility. Beyond the actual move, it is also incredible to watch the folks who come the day before the move to expertly pack everything in preparation for the move and then come the day after to unpack it all. Equally impressive is the rapid, yet thorough job Managed Moves does when handling a clean out of a senior's previous residence. Although the rates for all moving companies in Oregon are set by the state, the quality of the experiences that Managed Moves provides are where one realizes that they are providing a bargain for their customers. Even if the cost of hiring Managed Moves was double the actual prices that they charge, I would feel like I was getting the deal of a lifetime. The reality is that my sister and I will likely have to move one or both of our parents at least one or two more times, and no matter what the situation is, the one absolute given is that we will hire Managed Moves. I strong urge anyone to use them if you have the need to move someone into a senior living situation.

Managed Moves moved me to a retirement community and then cleared out my house. They were incredible! They carried a couch up to the 9th floor and even made the bed in the new apartment. The clear out was handled our very efficiently. Until I moved I didn't realize how much "stuff" there was-- tools from my husband and father in law, mementos from previous generations. They found someplace to donate almost all of it.

I recently contracted with Managed Moves to pack and move about 5 miles from a 2 bedroom condo to a one bedroom independent living apartment. I found the experience to be very efficient. The communication very good and all people I had contact with very friendly. The final invoice was less than the estimate. The care and communication reflect experience doing these moves. I would not hesitate to recommend or use them again. They are trustworthy and dependable.

We used Managed Moves to move my mom into assisted living. We were so pleased with them, we used them again to pack up her apartment for another move. THEN we used them again to move my husband and I into a new home. They are the BEST to work with. Very professional, hard working and reasonably priced. They did a great job all three times for us. Highly recommend.

Absolutely pleased with this company. Moved my 90-year old parents into a Senior living center. They had excellent communications throughout the process. Everyone we were in contact with was professional and very kind... understanding the challenges of moving older people. Would highly recommend and already have!
