Oh my gosh I love this place. The food, especially the pastry and dessert offerings, is all made on site and really something special. The name of the Cafe is a little misleading, because you can get real breakfast or real lunch here, not just coffee/tea/pastries. It is also really lovely inside with plenty of seating, including one really large table for a big group and plenty of little tables for someone studying like me (I always get breakfast or lunch though, I don't just camp). Tucked away in the Maplewood neighborhood, right down the street from Maplewood school and near no other businesses, you will think there can't possibly be a cafe there but sure enough there is. The parking is all street parking, which can be a little hard to find but I always eventually find a spot a short walk away.Vegetarian options: I noticed there were some but couldn't give details as I was focused on non-veg options.Kid-friendliness: I would say it is not super kid friendly but definitely kid-friendly enough, I saw families there and the kiddos seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Amazing food, teas and coffee. The veggie sandwich on focaccia bread is excellent.

Maplewood is a cute place in the Multnomah Village area that has a lot of great pastries and drinks from which you may choose. Pretty good atmosphere inside and the baristas are friendly and efficient. Today I got the chocolate chip pumpkin bread and the vanilla cinnamon latte, both of which tasted great. The place can be a little crowded and it can be hard to find parking outside, but I'd say those are the only drawbacks of the establishment and they are very small "problems" anyway.

The best, food and coffee are so good that there is always a line, but they keep it moving and plenty of seating. It has become our go to Sunday late morning breakfast spot. Seriously, the food is excellent across the board.

We came to Maplewood to get breakfast. I ordered the veggie sprout bagel and vanilla latte. The bagel was okay but I feel like it was very overpriced for what I got. The vanilla latte was really good and I enjoyed it. The reason why I took stars off was for several reasons. They have baked goods next to the counter. There were flies that were sitting on the muffins and cookies. I was planning on ordering some but I instantly lost my appetite once I saw these flies. I don't understand why they would just leave their baked goods out in the open. Our food came out so late when we literally ordered bagels. I feel like this restaurant is overhyped for what it is.

Tucked away in this cute neighborhood, it's so much more than a coffee house. The coffee is great, and the food and deserts are wonderful.

First time here and definitely worth the drive. It's very Portland; cozy, art on the wall, fun furniture and lots of room for big parties. The hot chocolate was very delicious! I also had a chocolate chip cookie (very chocolatity). It's a house, turned into a coffee shop, there's not a lot of parking. But that's normal so that doesn't bother me. As soon as you walk-in you have the bar station where they take your order. They will call your order out, but if you sit in the back- it's hard to hear your order. Lots of indoor seating. There is a station in between the front & back room to bus your dishes. This station has water & cups. Wifi available. Outlets (for charging) available. Can get loud.
