My experience with Medallion Industries: I have worked for a lot of window companies and have always felt the “corporate mentality” when it came to how I was treated. I never felt appreciated with my hard work or when I went the extra mile. Medallion does not give me that feeling. What I see at Medallion is a company that takes the time to make sure their employees feel appreciated, wanted, and cared for. During times of less profits on the bottom line, Medallion still makes sure the employees have what they need for the holidays. For example, for Thanksgiving I was given a very generous turkey for my family to enjoy, and for Christmas I am given a ham. They don’t have to do these things, especially during this time of year when building/profits naturally slows down. They even recognize employees that are having hard times and collectively come together to make sure their family has a comfortable Christmas. Do I genuinely feel appreciated? Absolutely. Do I feel cared for? Absolutely. This company has made my employment not only fun, but stress free. I absolutely recommend Medallion as an employer for anyone. Thank you, Medallion.

Waiting for a Marvin window that was supposed to be delivered in September. Was initially frustrated with Medallion, but after speaking with a company director, Jack, the problem appears to really lie solely with the window manufacturer, Marvin. Jack also promised to keep me posted on future developments. Fingers crossed that he stays on top of this for me.

Updated: After filing the complaint, I received thorough communication with a gentleman by the name of Jack. He recognized the error and and explained the situation. Another sales rep, Heather, reordered the door and followed up to ensure that I received it. In addition, they compensated me for the painting of the door as well. I appreciate them taking the extra effort into making it right.Initial review:I ordered a replacement door from Medallion back in June 2021 and spoke to a customer service rep named Eric. He found my exact match in their computer system and "ordered" it. Several weeks later, I still didn't receive an invoice or confirmation. I spent endless attempts to contact him through email and phone calls and didn't get a response until another employee informed me it was never ordered.I finally received an invoice at the end of July. After receiving the door, I painted it and realized that the door is reversed...after several attempts to contact him again, I finally got an answer that he ordered the wrong door. It took some time and got another replacement and was guaranteed it was the correct door. I work two job so I wasn't able to paint and hang right away. I finally had time to get it hung up and this is what I received.This is the second replacement door I received from Medallion. A second door that is significantly smaller...and now I can't get ahold of anyone at Medallion. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever received. I can't imagine giving this company any more chances. Unfortunately our house was built by Lennar and Medallion is their door supplier...Any advice from would be greatly appreciated to anyone out there that can help.

We worked with Kyle C in the Livermore office. His customer service was fantastic. He always responded in a timely fashion- both via phone and email. We are in Berkeley, and he made the drive twice to take measurements initially and returned to run through all of the options for our 10 windows, 2 exterior doors, hardware and trim. He made great suggestions based on our needs and price point. All items arrived in perfect condition on the appointed delivery date. We also have a home in Lincoln City, Oregon which needs updating. We would definitely work with Medallion's Portland office based on the great service and products were received from Livermore.

One of the employees lives in the warehouse. I was there picking up some material and the employees in the office were discussing it. He then came in the office for paperwork and the smell was overwhelming. I feel bad for they guy but that is completely unprofessional, unsanitary, and unsafe of the company. Rent him a hotel but don't let him live in your warehouse. It has changed my mind about kodiak and medallion. I get my materials somewhere else

I have had the pleasure of working at Medallion for the last 10 years. Now before you immediately hit the back arrow and totally discount my review, maybe just hear me out for a second because I might have a unique perspective you haven’t thought of before. You see, I sit on the “other side of table” so-to-speak. And I see what goes on from before you ever step foot in our showroom or pick up the phone to place an order, and I see what goes on the second you leave and every step thereafter until your product is carefully delivered into your hands or to your job site. So if you REALLY want to know who Medallion is as a company, please read on…I’ll be honest with you about something. Covid has been tough, for all of us. And it has hit the building materials and construction industries especially hard with price increase after price increase, and supply chain distributions like we’ve never seen before. And every day I watch as my fellow employees work hard to try to mitigate those disruptions so that they don’t carry down to the customer level, or at least to what extent that they are able to control.I see our purchasing department calling vendor after vendor looking for that one special door for a homeowner that no one can find because it’s out of stock everywhere, but we want to make the customer happy. I notice as one of our outside sales reps loads a box of hardware into his personal vehicle at the end of a long work day so that he can drop it off at a job site on his way home because the builder needs it to make his closing first thing in the morning and it wouldn’t have made it there in time otherwise. And our warehouse department and drivers? I don’t even know how to begin to tell you the lengths I’ve seen them go for our customers, because no matter what I said, it wouldn’t come close to describing how amazing they are. They are some of the most dedicated and hardest working individuals I have ever met. And we all report to the best management team that anyone could ever ask for. Why, you might ask? Because they genuinely care. About you, the customer, and about us, the employees. And they are not afraid to “get in the trenches” with us to solve a problem or to help someone in need. After all, that’s being a team is all about.Needless to say, I work with one fantastic group of people. And that’s who Medallion is. We’re not just another company that sells windows and doors. We are one fantastic group of people, who work hard together every day to take care of each other and our customers. So I know this isn’t your traditional review, but I wanted you to know who Medallion really is, and that even though Covid has taken a toll on everyone, we have rallied together as a family like we always do, and like we always will. And I’m proud to be a part of that. And I know that when it’s time to replace my windows on my house, I’ll definitely have no need to look any further.

Worst company ive ever worked for i worked 10-14hrs a day they promised a raise then continued to blow it off saying we can talk next week after over a month of this i was told another 2 weeks and that i needed to stay even later like a 14hr day is not enough. I was forced to lift 130+lbs doors myself continuously all day if you ask for a hand to do so then your made a mockery they grind there employees into the ground and dont care. I called in 1 time for legit reasons then was told i did something wrong .Not a good companyKevin im sorry to know that you would allow managers and vice presidents to treat humans in such a manner notice you didnt try to defend your company because you know that everything said was all true and that is very sad that you treat people in this manner yes you have employees who stay because they have families and bills and scared to take a leap of faith for a better life theres no need to apologize to me what is done is done and i am thankful im smart enough to get out while its not too late or waste anymore time believing in promises that will never come through so best of luck to you and your company that treat people as they dont matter

Like all the other reviews: Very pleasant and professional over the phone and initial emails followed by one follow up email, then nothing despite my emails and biweekly phone calls with their office personnel (who said she left messages). So I finally broke down and wrote this review. I received an email response stating they assumed we'd moved on (attached screenshot) and that was their reason for not initially responding in the first few weeks/days. It seems like others have had similar experiences. Edit: After all this I had a brief phone call with the employee. He was very professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. He offered a very heartfelt apology and offered to rectify the situation immediately. Unfortunately I have no evidence that it wouldn't be left hanging again. No purchase was made so I cannot speak to their installation or product quality.

Chris Bartlett delivered door today. Our driveway is too narrow for a big truck to get into and we are on a busy road. Chris parked a half mile down the road and walked to our house to ask for the best way to get the door to our house. Most drivers would have just left, but Chris went above and beyond. This is the type of work ethic a company should be proud of. Thanks Chris! Justin Monahan

Fantastic experience! The team is so knowledgeable, accommodating, and responsive. We worked with them for several materials for our new construction (windows, doors, trim). Definitely recommend this team... they are great partners!
