As a few others have mentioned, there is something off about this place. I live in the neighborhood and have stopped in twice in the middle of the day. No customers, two employees chatting with each other. They asked what I wanted and I requested a gel manicure. Both times they looked at each other and told me they were closed for the day. Both times were in the middle of the afternoon. I figured if that was their approach to business, the work was probably not much better.

I have tried several nail salons and hands down they do the best job! After a couple weeks it seems the gel manicures from other salons start lifting around the edges. That has never happened to me here. You need to schedule an appointment but when you arrive they are typically ready for you and if you do wait it is only for a couple minutes. Again at other salons I will schedule an appointment and many times end up waiting, sometimes for a long time.

The best little hidden gem, the nail techs are outstanding with the gel lasting ages! I travel from out of town just to get my nails done exclusively by this salon.Services: Pedicure

it is not their fault that construction was blocking their building, but I could not see how to enter fomyappointmen. I called and asked for help getting in as I had a cane and I am a fall risk. they told me to come back another day. they know how to do nails, but not how to help customers,into the store. not impressed.

They do a great job. Fair price and cute environment. They are cash only with an on-site ATM. Me and my boyfriend both really enjoyed our pedicures.

Scheduling an appointment is better than walking in since they are busy most days. The pedicure chairs are really comfortable and they have a wide array of polish options. They have an ATM for .50 cent withdrawal fee. Relaxing atmosphere.Service: Pedicure

STAY AWAY FROM THIS NAIL SALON. I GOT A BACTERIAL INFECTION ON MY TOE AFTER A PEDICURE. I got a partial manicure and pedicure last Friday. I told them I had already cut my fingernails and toenails myself and did not want them cut. I also did not want polish. I just wanted my cuticles pushed back and cleaned up. Rather than listening, the lady doing my toenails cut the nails at a slant on the edges. My dermatologist says do not allow them to do this as it causes ingrown toenails. THE WORST PART IS THAT SHE KEPT PICKING AT MY BIG TOE AND I NOW HAVE A BACTERIAL INFECTION FROM THIS NAIL SALON. MY TOE IS RED, SWOLLEN, AND INFECTED. THIS COST ME A VISIT TO MY DERM TO GET ANTIBIOTICS, WHICH I HOPE CURES THE INFECTION. I just called the nail salon and asked for Nia Mach, as this is who I paid by Venmo since they would not take my credit card, and she refused to give me a refund, even after I told her what has happened. She would take no responsibility at all.Services: Manicure

STAY AWAY! THIS NAIL SALON GAVE ME A BACTERIAL INFECTION! I got a manicure and pedicure (no polish, just asked for cuticles to be cleaned up) last Friday. One lady worked on my toes and another on my hands. I had already cut my fingernails and toenails and asked that they not be cut. Instead of listening, the lady working on my toes chose to cut the sides of my toenails at a slant. My dermatologist has told me not to allow this as it causes ingrown toenails. The bigger issue is that the lady picked at my big toe and I NOW HAVE A BACTERIAL INFECTION from this nail salon. My toe is red, swollen and infected. I just called the nail salon and asked for Nia Mach as this is who I paid on Venmo since they wouldn't take a credit card, and she refused to give me a refund.

Anh is my girl! I absolutely love how she does my nails and ALWAYS gets me in when I need, with my busy schedule! She's delightful in every way! Kim is also wonderful! I love this place! Very relaxing, clean, bright, and full of plants (: I don't really leave reviews but I've been going here since I was 10! Nearly a decade and my mom and aunt have been coming here for much longer. We always come in the summer with my cousin to get our nails done and they are always so accommodating! Wonderful talent here and always friendly. The ladies here are so sweet. Give them a try!

Best nail salon in Portland!! They did an amazing job on our nails and the customer service was absolutely everything you could ever ask for. So friendly and accommodating, made us feel totally welcomed and did not rush us. I really appreciated how we got a full-on spa experience and had plenty of time to let our toes dry while chatting in their massage chairs. Could not recommend Midas Nails more!!
